Best Reuben in town and a great breakfast too!. I have a new favorite... I can not say enough about this authentic Deli! The food is fabulous and the service is terrific. I have become a fixture every Sunday for breakfast... They have the best breakfast and if you like a bagel with lox... yummy! The BEST!!! All I can say is go try it.. you won't be sorry!

No frills, except good food!. Phil's offers a no-frills atmosphere with great breakfast and lunch options. They are always bustling and taking care of customers. Food comes out fast, just as you ordered it and it is sure to please! The place is full of regulars, but by the end of your meal you'll feel like one too!

Excellent Service. It's like Cheers... they make a point to know everyone's names. There is something there for everyone to eat, the food is great, and the environment casual and inviting.

Phil's Deli is a rare gem in Charlotte, a city short on real, honest-to-goodness diners. Phil brings a little New York style to the Queen City with tasty deli meats and Big Apple-sized sandwiches. On the weekend, this is the place to go after a refreshing run, on your way to the grocery, for brunch after church, or if you were barely able to drag yourself out of bed.





The Food


Bagels, of course, are served all day with a variety of toppings including cream cheese spreads with veggies, nova, baked salmon, herring or lox. For the lunch crowd, sandwiches, salads, burgers and hot dogs are served in a friendly relaxed atmosphere by a wait staff that knows the regulars by name. Special items such as Phil's house Italian dressing and N.Y. rye bread are made fresh daily.





While Phil's is a hot spot for lunch, it's equally popular for breakfast fans. The coffee is refilled regularly as patrons enjoy breakfast items like eggs, French toast, pancakes, hefty omelets and generous sides of bacon, sausage and hash browns. Diner fanatics know that the scrambled eggs with nova and onions are incredible.
