Hecht's - SouthPark Mall. Hecht's SouthPark mall was built in 1987, as a part of the first SouthPark mall expansion. It was originally a Thalhimer's department store before May Company acquired it. Recently remodled and expanded to over 200,000 sqaure feet, Hecht's SouthPark is one of North Carolina's largest Hecht's stores and icing on the cake - features a furniture department!
