FABULOUS!. Be sure to order asparagus as the vegetable! They are wonderful! I have been going to Tai Pei South for years now and the food, the very kind service of the staff and the prices are the very, very best in Charlotte!

Best Chinese for the money. This is one of the best and most consistent Chinese restaurants ever. The food is extremely good and as a bonus, it is one of the least expensive.

No frills, just good food. I like Chinese food and Taipei South is just great. It may not be a fancy place but the place is clean (not smelly as in the case of many chinese restaurant) with decent lighting.

The food is great. It is authentic chinese with american style. Try the Special Fried Rice, it's simply the best!!! They even offer "light dishes" for those on low calorie diet which surprisingly has great tastes too.

Plus the service is impeccable. Fast, friendly and courteous. With so many customers (avoid rush hours), I'm amazed the waiter remembered my family's previous order. They really focused on great customer experience.

Fantastic Food. Without a doubt, the absolute best chinese food this side of N.Y. . I've had Chinese food in many different restaurants, from China town to Florida, this place could easily make a go for the top 10 list in the country. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, fresh, and inexpensive.
