Charlotte's Best Spot for Breakfast/Brunch.
If you want to start your weekend morning off right, this is the place to go. You can order anything from the traditonal ham and eggs, to crepes and salads. The price is reasonable and the service is good.
The lines can get long so call ahead if you can.

Best Ripoff in Charlotte.
The food here is mediocre and the management is arrogant!! If you substitute anything on the menu, expect a surprise--You will be overcharged.

Great Breakfast Food.
Charlotte, NC is definitely lacking on the breakfast restaurant end of things, however this place is well worth the very long wait on Saturday or Sunday mornings. They do a great job of turning tables fast, but this place is just that popular. The food is incredible, the service is great. Overall Fantastic. I just wish there were more of them! I like to try something new and different every time I visit this place. The Original pancake house is definitely a Charlotte staple.

Made-to-order breakfasts---including over a dozen unique flapjacks---stack the odds in this restaurant's favor..
In Short
Founded in Oregon circa 1953, this simply-furnished spot owes its success to its creative menu and fresh ingredients. Batters are made on the premises; a special "sourdough starter" keeps treats from tasting overly sweet. Patrons choose from eggs, waffles, crepes and oven-baked omelets, as well as signature plates like blueberry pancakes (served with or without compote), giant cinnamon-glazed apple pancakes, thin and chewy "49-ers" and the air-filled, lemon-and-sugar-topped "Dutch Baby."

Best Breakfast in NC.
NC is not the breakfas capital of the world so you have to search for some good places. This is the best. Great menu, friendly service, and top notch food. Go check it out today!!

Nothing special here.
Don't let the long lines fool you....this place is average at best. Food is mediocre and the service would clearly rather be somewhere else. They seat you as quickly as they can - that's about all I can say that's good about this place

EXCELLENT BREAKFAST.
It is an awesome place. The people and the service are really nice, we went on a Saturday at 12:00 p.m, we expected to be crowdy, and not at all. We were seated quickly, the food didn't take long. I recommend Steak and Eggs, and replace the toast for pancakes.

Breakfast of champs!.
OPH has a great breakfast! Granted, you do have to wait on the weekends, but the wait is well worth it, and if you plan right, you can get in at a good time. The food is wonderful and unique, as the recipes have come from all over. My family eats at the OPH regularly, and I can understand why (of course, my wife and I rarely get up early enough to join them, but being newlyweds, I think it's ok).
Prices are a little high on some of the menu items, and they don't have biscuits. But those are the only two downsides as far as I am concerned. Everything else is great!

Excellent Breakfast!.
The food is wonderful, both breakfast and lunch! Never an off day, food always good! They make a couple of their syrups which are excellent. Could take guest and never be disappointed with the food.
The only advise I would have for the management of Original Pancake House, is to encourage servers to
be a bit more friendly. We were never offered a refill on our coffee, which would have been nice. The Food
is prepared great, looks nice when delivered and taste excellent.
