South End Morning Yum. Loved our breakfast! I had Michael's Special(?). The English muffins topped with Sausage, egg and sherry/mushroom, served with potato cakes. Ate every bite and still want more! Our server was sweet and attentive-just right for a Sunday morning. Even the hostess was upbeat, nice change from my usual morning place. My only wish was closer parking and few less really noisy kids! Otherwise I will be thinking up reasons to head into Charlotte for breakfast!

Mediocre things come to those who wait... I don't mean to be too critical, but after several visits (South Blvd location), OPH has proven to be less than par in my book. My parties have never received good service at Original Pancake House (on one occasion, waiting up to an hour for cold food). I will say that when the food comes out hot, it is pretty good, but that is only one fifth of the time, and the portion of my day that I have to spend in the restaurant was not worth it to me.

Great Breakie. Great Breakie - be daring don't just order plain pancakes - live a little and try the more daring menu items. Its worth it.

Overpriced. I'm sure the location has a lot to do with how the prices on the menu but $9.00 for eggs benedict, give me a brake. The eggs benedict are yummy but not worth that much. Also have fun waiting for at least an hour on Sunday's
