Great school to get started in the medical field. Not sure why there's bad reviews. The school is cool. A lot of the students are a little "ego" sensitive which they let get in their way of their academics, but as long as you study you'll do good. Its been a little over a year since I graduated in the LPN program and I'm working at CMC now. Wouldn't trade it for the world, I love my job.…
Go to a Community College or University. I am a college graduate and I have my BSN in Science and I am a RN. I am working on my MSN and will graduate in the fall of this year. I have a family memeber who took the Medical Image Technology program. Against all judgment from research that I had gathered I tried to encourge him to go to a community college or an University. He is married with 2 children. He quit his job, drove 3 hours each way for almost 2 years and the program did not graduate his class ontime. Gas was almost $5.00 per gal. He did not get any unemployment or any extra finacial aid to support his family. His wife worked 2 full time jobs to care for there needs. This school charged almost $30,000 for a useless Diploma. My family member was thrown to the wolves with no help of ECPI. This is not was ECPI portrays in advertisment. ECPI claim is you will be better off after graduating from their program. My family member left a 17 year career, is $30,000 in debt, can't find a job because every job he applies for tells him you need a degree. He was forced to continue online to go to the ECPI online program because his credits would not transfer anywhere else. So, that is more money for ECPI. He has been out of work for over 2 years and during this time ECPI has done nothing but made a phone call after a threat of legal action against them for false advertisment. I encourage anyone that has been caught up in the lies of ECPI to take a stand against the school for justice for the little person. In speaking to anyone at ECPI they only state lies that others have found jobs and that is not true. This school has gotten rich off of money that does not belong to them because ECPI did not live up to their end of the bargain. ECPI has no loyalty to their students so why should the students have any loyalty to ECPI. Get justice even if you have to go to the legal system. There is strength in numbers or stand alone.…
Don't Do it.. My husband wanted to change careers and quit his job and enrolled into this Campus. He got up at 4:30am every morning and drove 3 1/2 hours to school. He did this for 1 year and 10 months. He took Medical Technology. (BAD CHOICE). This school states they will help with job placement. The only thing they helped was themselves to $30,000 for a program that offers NOTHING! You can't get a job because you need a 4 year degree. ECPI did nothing to help him find a job. They changed instructors and the way the program was suppose to be done throughout the course. The credits don't transfer. They graduated 3 months late. So not only does he have a worthless Diploma. He has no job and a resume that states he has been out of work for 2 years and we are $30,000 in debt. DON"T waste your time or money go to a real college and when you graduate get a real job. My husband is worse off then when he started!!!…
