Enter At Your Own Risk. It's not a bad club, it's just not a safe club. I was there one evening and had to evacuate fifteen minutes after paying the cover charge because someone had set off tear gas and everyone had to leave. There are often quite bloody and violent fights that require police intervention. I'm writing this review because tonight my passenger side window was smashed and my car was broken into. Prior to this I was cursed at by security who told me to "move my f__king car". I protested the aggressive language and was told to "shut the f__k up and move your car or get the f__k off private property!". I moved my car. I then complained about my treatment to management and reported the surly security guard. When I went out to my car I found my window smashed. I have no proof that it was the a fore mentioned security guard that was the culprit. I will say however that mine was the only car broken into out of the fifty or so that were parked around me. I again informed management of the situation and was told "five or six cars get broken into every week, it's not my security's fault". Security supposedly patrols the parking lots but apparently not well enough. Make of this what you will, I only warn you to be cautious and never park at the top of the hill. Had I known street crime was so rampant in the vicinity I wouldn't have been there at all.

Worst place to ever go. This place is crappy it was a nice bar but not a safe area I believe you should take a cab. Our car was broken into and about 2 grand was stolen out of our car I think this is the worst neibhorhood its known for roberies i will be taken care of those who did it god will get them but do not go here unless you take a cab. The cops even said that you should not bring your car or walk in this area there is alot of breaking in and robberies, so think twice before you park your car in this parking lot. My heart is broken about what happen great night until this happened.

club. the bartenders are bitches. The queens are terrible, the customers are total tool bags. This place is terrible. If you're a glutton for punishment, this is the place for you.

WARNING: This bar could be dangerous to your life. Drugs, thugs, gangsters- all straight too. Scorpio should officially be removed from the list of gay bars in CLT. Fights every Sat night, metal detectors at the door do not prevent them getting weapons over the wall of the "Patio". How else could somebody have been held at gunpoint in the restrooms and the SWAT team had to be called? The management of this club should be ashamed. The Tyson family should take this property back and close it before there is a massacre there.

The Drag shows are awful. They all do the same thing. Once upon a time CLT had a good rep for drag- now it's the biggest joke in the Southeast. It's clear the owners don't give a damn about it's clientle, they're the same as the greedy coporations and politicians raping this country. They only want the $$$. Stop it, clean it up, sell it, or close it.

Very Dangerous. I went to Scorpio's for the first time after moving here from NYC. I was thoroughly appalled. A woman was dragged out in from of my face by a drag queen whom when I questioned staff was "security" then everyone acted like they had no idea what happened. I would NEVER go back to scorpio nor would I recommend it to anyone. Unless you like being around thugs and in dangerous situations STAY AWAY!!!!

Best gay dance club in Charlotte, despite its shortcomings. I hadn't been to Scorpios in about six months and decided to try it out again last night. I will say that it has improved vastly since last time I was there back in October. The crowd was more of your typical gay crowd rather than the thug crowd this club has the reputation for. In addition it was a Friday night and it was packed...usually on Friday nights when I would go before there were maybe 30-40 people in the club at best. As for the music, decent but still a little too hip-hop heavy for my tastes, but they threw in just enough recent top 40 dance hits to make it enjoyable. There was a drag show around 1:30 but if you are going for drag stick to Sundays and Wednesdays. Bottom line, if you haven't been here in a while check it out. Its definitely on its upswing and it was refreshing to see that it has become a decent Friday night dance spot.

Warning. If your friends went to club Myxx look for them at Scorpios. Too many straight people- dangerous thugs

Best Sauce Around!!!. I had never been to a Gay club before, and after some careful consideration, I decided to call up my gay friend and ask if I could join his group for one of their rendezvous's. I have to say that my experience was AWESOME!! Surprisingly, not too many guys made passes at me as much as I had originally anticipated(even though I am an anomaly, since I'm good looking AND Asian). Overall, I would definitely recommend this to any open-minded straight guy. Scorpio's ftw.

Great club. This was my first time at Scorpios. The parking lot was huge and lighted very well. Had security around which made me feel safe. I am transgendered so I went for their drag show. We got there at midnight but the show ended already. The club itself was very dark and very hot. Overall it was a great club to go to. The admission is $10 for non-members, but worth the price. The club was packed at midnight, but started to fizzle out around 1:30 am.
