Save your money!. I recently went with my fiance and it was by far the worst dinner experience either of us has ever had. We waited for 20 minutes at our table for someone to take our drink order. When we got our salads it consisted of a bowl of iceberg lettuce and two thin slices of radish... the baked potato wasn't cooked all the way through on either of our meals and when I ordered my filet "medium" I couldn't eat anything but the out side of the steak because it was still bloody and cold in the middle. Instead of sending it back we just boxed it up and got our bill and left. In the meantime we watched as others were given service as soon as they walked in the restaurant, drinks were served promptly, and we were shocked we didn't have the same treatment. I was given an "extra" ramekin of sour cream, which when our waitress realized this she took it away from me, even after I told her I would keep it. It was $90 for our meal and honestly it was by far the worst steak I have ever had in my entire life. I brought it home and threw it on our grill and finished eating it at home.

Do not waste your time or money! DO NOT EAT HERE!. After reading the reviews on the web, we tried this hundred dollar mistake! After I explained that I couldn't read the menu, the waitress brought me a flashlight with a magnifiing glass. Everything on menu was in the $21 to $30 dollar range! We ordered two appt. which were both great. When the main entree's arrived we had tough and dry steaks on both plates. Burnt tasting sweet potato's were the side dish. There was no flavor at all to the steak. We were truly disappointed but said nothing. OUR TOTAL BILL FOR TWO WAS $72. AND CHANGE! I LEFT $100 DOLLARS AS OUR WAITRESS WAS THE BEST I HAVE HAD IN YEARS. SHE GRABBED THE CHECK AND NEVER EVEN SAID THANKS FOR THE $27.00 TIP!!! SHE DISAPPEARED AND WE NEVER SAW HER AGAIN. I bought a pint of the horseradish cocktail sauce and I really feel this was the only good thing about this restaurant.

Not for families. Very pricey , ESP if you take kids!!!! Very pricey, kids chicken meal cost $7.95, so you can imagine the price of adult meals!!!

Great food (especially the shrimp cocktail). We eat here every time we come back from a trip or go to the airport to pick someone up. It's great every time. I'm a 3rd generation devotee (my family has been coming for at least 50 years)! Everything is delicious- I usually order the teriyaki chicken because it's a "comfort food" for me, as I've been ordering it my whole life. You have to try the shrimp cocktail. The sauce is amazing! But have a buttered cracker on-hand, because water won't put out the fire! The location is definitely out of the way, but it's worth the trip!

A truley great american experience. Great steak and down home people. I was traveling to Charlotte and was looking for a great Carolina dining experience. I wanted a great American steak house. I was not let down. I couldn't help having flashbacks of amazing places my family would stop into while on road trips across America. It's so southern; they even have real steer horns on the wall when you walk in.

I loved it. The servers were so friendly and attentive. Other big chain restaurants could take a page out of their book on how to treat a customer.

It was no surprise when Glenn, the owner, told us they have staff who've worked there for like 30 YEARS!!!! Ya gotta be doing SOMETHING right. In my opinion they did everything right. I thoroughly enjoyed by experience.

Do NOT pass up this place. We left with a full belly AND more money in our wallet than if we went to many of the other guys.
