The Skinny
Theatre Charlotte sounds like what it is: your community theater. And it's been that for quite a long time. Since 1927, Theatre Charlotte has been entertaining the city and surrounding area.
Throughout the year, the company produces five mainstage plays. Enjoy all kinds of shows, from comedies like Noel Coward's "Present Laughter" to beloved musicals like Lerner & Loewe's "Brigadoon." The casts are all comprised of local actors; auditions are open to the public.
You also have three chances yearly to catch a performance of Four O'clock Theatre. The one-act plays in a cabaret-type setting are directed by local men and women.
