Uniqueness. I love this place. When I'm in doubt about a gift I have no trouble finding one at the House. Pape, the owner, has done a great job stocking the store with unique items in all price ranges. Check out this hidden gem.

The name says it all: arts, crafts, clothes and wares of the continent right here in Charlotte.. In Short
Located among hip clothing stores and happening hangouts in the revitalized area of Plaza-Midwood, this store looks very much like a gallery except everything is on sale. The first room is filled with large wooden sculptures, intricately carved furniture, wall hangings and intriguing designs. The rest of the store carries apparel for men and women such as hats, scarves, bracelets, belts and more. Designs ranging from primitive to shimmering, catch the eye with every turn.
