Great coffee too!. Not only is the bread and the pastries at this bakery awesome, so is the coffee. When the weather is nice, there is nothing that I love better than sitting outside on Central Ave. and watching everyone go by. It is such an interesting neighborhood and Nova's Bakery makes it even better.

Best baguettes and cookies in town!. Wonderful bakery and nice ambiance. Highly recommend this place. Great coffee and breads galore!

BEWARE of parking. DO NOT PARK in the back of this bakery. Signs are NOT clear or readily visible, and the tow truck company sits back there waiting for unsuspecting patrons to park in this supposedly "illegal" parking lot. The tow truck company is Wheel Blockers, 401 Hawthorne Ln . I don't know if tow patrol is illegal in North Carolina, but they will charge you #120.00 for hooking the car up to the truck. We were gone only 5 minutes, saw the tow truck and went out to move the car. Something just didn't feel right, and they already hooked the car up. No other cars had a permit that we could see. Just beware.

Amazing Bread. Novas is exceptional breads.... and Harris Teeter may not carry it, but Home Economist Markets do.

The South Blvd. Store is even using Novas yummy Faccocia Bread to make Paninis in their deli.

European-style breads and homemade scones make this a must-visit in the Plaza-Midwood area.. In Short
Once upon a time, Sladjana and Vlado Novakovic ran their whole bakery operation from a small South End shop. They came to this expanded Plaza-Midwood location, complete with a dining area separate from the bakery. Locals love relaxing here with a book, a coffee and muffins, cookies or award-winning scones. The lunch crowd opts for the mini-pizzas or the focaccia. Others go home with loaves of warm European-style bread--baguettes, peasant loaves, sourdoughs and more.

Nova Bakery - Awesome. I've been going to Nova for over 5 years. It's the absolute best in Charlotte. Harris Teeter used to carry their bread but when they stopped, I started driving to their store. It's worth the trip. Even my parents, when they visit from New Jersey, make me drive there to pick up some of their great bread and pastries.
