Best Place in town Glad I looked here. we came from the west coast and were very worried about fiding my baby "Angel" someone who truly cared and knew how to groom her correctly. A friend told me, after looking at what seemed like every place in town and not being happy with 3 places we tried, about a shop she found on her way to work . Right from the start Amy and Chuck made me feel secure in knowing at last someone really cared about "Angel" my pure bread cotton and I'm not sure the groomers name but she took my rag mop and gave me back the dog I remembered and love.

Don't Go if you love your pet. My dog looked aweful then i read this web site i should of read it before i took my dog... everything printed here is true!!!!! Including the felony convictions which are public record

I LOVE THE NEW OWNERS. My Poodle Chloe has had horrible grooming experiences including under the old owner of POST the new OWNER and facilities are fantastic and I DO NOT trust anyone else to care for little CHLOE ever again. They do a great dog and are very professional and sweet.

MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. My dog was in needed a summer trim so I took him to Posh Pets on Monroe Rd. Biggest mistake of my life! This was to be my dog's first hair cut, so I was very meticulous when instructing the owner how much hair I wanted trimmed. He said no problem. I went to pick him up (I had to pay first before he gave me my dog) and to my shock he brought me the wrong dog. I was saddly mistaken, it was my dog. He was beyond reconizable. They had completly shaved my dog! I started crying and asking how they could do that to him and the only response was "There has been a misunderstanding." I called my bank immediatley and stopped charges. This has completely changed the personality of my dog! He has to coats of hair that protect him from the sun and helps to insulate him as well, now I can't have him in the sun for long because he gets sun burned not to mention he hides in the house and every time we get in the car he is is tramatized and starts shaking. This brings tears to my eyes. Please don't ever take your dog to POSH PETS!

They have "lost" 2 dogs in 2 years. My experience with the company is that it was not well kept (clean) or well managed. Also, they breed "designer" dogs. When the dogs are let out to play together, they are not watched.

I would NEVER board my dogs there. It's not a secure facility and the owners/staff are irresponsible.

The first dog that "escaped" was found dead. They are doing little to nothing to help locate the latest "escaped" dog.

In my opinion, customer care & pet care are not their number one priorities. I believe money is the only thing they care about. That is, of course, my opinion.

They lost my dog too. Dropped the two dogs off on Sat the 28th so we could go to a wedding. Monday at 10am-ish we received a call that my little Jack Russel mix had scooted out the front door when a customer came in. where was the safety gate???? I trusted these people to keep my baby safe. Last sighting of her was Sunday the 5th but she has apparently crossed several major streets and maybe someone has picked her up. I know things happen but this could have been avoided with proper measures....My heart is gone

So happy I found them after my last groomer retired. I've lived in Charlotte since 1984 and have used different pet groomers. The last one retired recently. I found Grateful Pets on the internet because they were convenient to my location in Elizabeth.

I could not be happier with finding them. They gave me a tour of the place which is very clean and the new owner, Chuck is very proud to show off the licenses and state passed inspections.

The staff is friendly and professional and they were able to wash my hell raiser cat which alone deserves a 5 star rating.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO POSH PETS!!!!!. Boarded my two dogs there for the Labor Day weekend, dropped them off on Friday, 8/31/07. Received a call from Danny the owner on Sunday, 9/2/07. Danny said that one of my dogs escaped. The dog he said escaped was a very timid dog that followed my other dog everywhere, he would never leave without the other. Nor could he climb an 8ft fence with barbed wire at the top. I returned the following day and they had not found my dog. I am very sad to say my dog was found dead, struck by a train only a half block from the business. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO POSH PETS for any reason, boarding or grooming, they are negligent and irresponsible.

great staff, great service!!. I will rate this a "10" the staff was great with my dog. She is a 15 yr old poodle mix and is nerves when away from mommy. The staff at Posh Pets pampered to her needs. I called to make appointment and was told to bring her on in. They took excellant careof my Pebbles and had her done in about 1 hr. When I picked up Pebbles she was not shaking like she used to with my other groomer. Thanks again for taking care of my little one!!
