Bed Bugs Abound!. Was eaten by bedbugs! It was dreadful! The manager denied having bedbugs but then suggested I take a "hot bath with salts"! They did nothing to help and for hundreds of dollars I could have been at the Ritz. Traveler Beware!!!
What A Great Place!. My husband and I held our rehearsal dinner at the Morehead Inn and could not have been more pleased with the event. We hosted 60 of our friends and family and the MHI was the perfect venue. Julie was dedicated to the preparations and made our entire experience unforgettable. The food was excellent and you can't find a better atmosphere in Charlotte!
The ultimate in Southern comfort..
This historic home-cum-inn is set on gorgeous, well-landscaped gardens within one of Charlotte's oldest and most prestigious neighborhoods. Its storybook setting makes it an impressive setting for weddings, conferences and romantic weekend retreats. It is a short walk to numerous restaurants. It is also close to the Carolina Medical Center.
Each of the nonsmoking guest rooms and suites is furnished with period antiques and includes a private bath. The TV system is set-up so that travelers from around the country can tune into their hometown news--just one example of how thoughtfully details are taken into account. From diet soda served with the bountiful breakfast to favorite cookies, customer preferences are noted and acted upon. Needless to say, this property receives many repeat guests. Visitors are welcome to use the facilities at the nearby Central YMCA.
A Delightful Night Before. The day before my wedding, I stayed at the Morehead Inn, along with my bridesmaids. We were treated like royalty and the before the wedding pictures were amazing. The Morehead Inn is a relaxing way to spend that oh so stressful night before the big day. I highly recommend the Inn!
