I love this store. I generally only shop thrift stores so i keep an eye on the pricing. Compared to other thrift stores this one may seem higher but the items are not the same. Some of the items are designer type things and i feel they are priced accordingly. If you just want cheap go to the goodwill. If your looking for high quality well made stuff then nothing beats this store. I wish i was closer but whenever we come into this part of Charlotte we stop in. We got my daughters prom dress here and it was a steal. I always find something purses, shoes and jewelry are some of my favorites.

Excellent upscale items for excellent prices. First off, I am going to assume that Otterbutt's idea of resale shopping lies somewhere between early garage sale & late Kmart. Some people don't know better than to recognize an excellent condition, 3-piece Carlisle suit at $98 as a good deal (retail $1000), or a new with tags, current-season, seashell-adorned Michael Simon sweater for $30 as an absolute steal (retail $100). I've purchased a like-new Burberry golf shirt for my husband for $20 (retail $100) & have seen in someone else's hands, a brand-new MacKenzie-Child's "Courtly Check" 3-qt teapot for $8 (retails $98). If you know truly upscale, high-end merchandise (and I'm not talking mid-level department store Ralph Lauren), this place is a dream!!

Reasonably priced high quailty items. I went to just look and found many things of value for myself. I was very pleased and plan to return on a regular basis to browse whats' recently been added to their inventory. The help there was very good and polite. I wish this location all the best so I can keep finding unusual items and have told my friends about this place. It was more than worth my time! Namaste.

It's one of the truisms of secondhand shopping: rich people leave better cast-offs. That's where the Junior League comes in.. In Short
Find great bargains and support a noble cause without paying retail prices. Located uptown in the old Dorsey Building, this secondhand store houses donated furnishings, housewares and clothing. With reasonably priced used goods, this shop is a treasure chest of high-quality merchandise that churns quickly. A recent trip produced five Brooks Brothers neckties for $1 each, a Totes raincoat for $7.50 and a dress shirt in mint condition for $5.

Avoid altogether if bargain hunting is your goal!. Okay, so I consider myself a veteran of the original Christopher Columbus of Resalers. This is NOT the place to go for a bargain.....on anything. $10.00 for Bebe infant 0-6 month sleeper is not the definitive deal. If you want to feel like your making a contribution to some hospital research foundation then go to a website and sign up. Otherwise,......this is clearly someone's albeit clever anecdote for high priced misnomers. The sign which reads ' discount resale shoppers welcome" is a gold foiled hand delivered belly laugher! That's if you think $54.00 for a black vest with sea shell adornments is your next claim to fame on the Golden Globe's Carpet. Avoid this downtown trap and stick with the Goodwills......(which are also overpriced) Better Yet, plan an excursion to The Alamo in Houston, TX. By the time you get there, fill your trunk up with already dry cleaned and tagged Name Brand everything, it (the trip) will have paid for itself twice over. Then you can go and have a real bonified margarita to celebrate all your great finds. Serious!!
