Seller BEWARE. I took pictures of every item before going to the store and taped the picture on the box what was in each box. This way they could easily see if it contained items they would accept. They grabbed the boxes from me and took them. They did not look at the pictures. 3 weeks later I was called and told they just went through my items and had some they would not take. I live 45 miles away so I said I would make one trip and get all things then after the 30 day period. I got my items. There are items missing and items chipped that were not chipped. I checked EVERY edge of the crystal classes to make sure they were not chipped. A candy dish was badly chipped about 1 inch by 1/2 inch which was not there and looks fresh. THey do not take care of sellers items. And the answer I have gotten each time over the years of using them, is call Betty tomorrow she will be in then. I was told they often go to the car and say yes or no on items so unwanted items would not go in. THAT IS WHY THE PICTURE WERE TAKEN IN COLOR and printed and put on the boxes. They refused to look at them. My guess is they dropped some pieces. My 15" salad spoon and fork, silver, were in their own brown tarnish free bags. They lost the bags. Response, IN THE CONTRACT WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING. I showed the picture with the bags with the fork and spoon. No response. RECHECK the figures of what you will get. I picked it up at 30 days. BEWARE

Everything is on consignment at Clearing House, and aren't we lucky for that.. The Skinny
Sellers bring their items in, the staff prices the items, and they display them for 4 months. Once sold, the seller gets to keep 60% of the sale, while Clearing House gets 40%. The price of the item is reduced 15% every 30 days, something bargain hunters should keep in mind when shopping here for home furnishings. The store trys to stock mainly high-end, fine home furnishings and collectibles. You'll find antiques, china, crystal, silver, art and furniture among their wares. There is a high turnover rate, so stop by the store often. The shop is also frequented by decorators and dealers. Unfortunately, with such a small staff, the shop can't offer moving help, so bring your truck and brawn along. In business for 14 years, this is one unique location you don't want to miss.
