BEST CURRY GOAT. I recently visited Charlotte, NC and was suprised to find there was an authentic Jamaican take-out restaurant. If you are looking for a great meal on the go, I highly recommend Austin's. I had the curry goat with rice and beans, and it was extremely good. The meat was seasoned to perfection and the rice and beans were moist and not undercooked. I only wish they had seats.

Great Chicken. I got the JerkChicken for about 9 dollars for the large serving. It was fantastic, perfectly spiced, and I really enjoyed it. The rice was equally as remarkable--again the spices with the rice and beans were a perfect medley. If you want something more saucey I would go for the Curry Chicken, which my roommate has said was even better. I would have liked to get more meat with the meal given that I ordered the larger size, although I was full after the meal and my roommate was very satisfied with the amount of meat he got with his meal. I will definitely be returning to try the curry chicken, as my roommate mentioned this as being extremely close to his home cooking, and he is from an area where this type of food is typical. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a good take-out experience.
