Best in Charlotte. When I moved to Charlotte, I tried all of the most well known salons in the city and was never satisfied. Then I discovered Nikki at Ryan's salon. I am not great with explaining what I want but Nikki asked great questions until she knew exactly what I was looking for (even though I didn't!) She did a recent updo for a gala I was attending and it was amazing! I felt like a celebrity! My husband finally switched to Nikki after hearing me rave about her and he says it is the best hair cut he has ever gotten! Also love the complimentary wine at Ryan's! I am now a faithful Ryan's fan!

Best of the Best. Ryan's Salon has been looking after me for years. When I go get my hair cut there I know I’m in good hands. The staff and management are all very professional and go over and beyond their way to make sure you are happy when you leave their salon. They communicate very well, which is hard to find these days in salons. At Ryan's Salon they stop during the cut to make sure they are doing what you want them to do and to make sure you are comfortable and if you need anything to drink etc. Ryan's Salon is an amazing salon!

Best Salon!. I first went to Ryan's Salon more than 25 years ago, a single girl in my 20s. Would budget for that cut and highlight - would not miss it! Not only was the service always wonderful but I became friends with the owner. My mother began going there as well. When I was married Ryan did my hair for my wedding - one of my favorite memories! I moved away from the area and have never loved a salon or hair dresser as much! My Mom moved away in 1996 and drove to Charlotte (4 hours) for several years because she just could not give him up. Believe me if I could I would drive there now for the superior service, excellent staff and the knowledge they have about hair and what works and does not for each individual. Really wish we had a salon like Ryan's where I live now - special place and special people!

Wonderful Salon. All the stylists are wonderful there. I'm greeted with a warm reception every time I go in there and have a pleasant time with my stylist.

Best Hair Salon in Charlotte. Been going to Ryan's Salon for over 20 years and seen many changes but through them all, the things that are constant are the great styles, customer service and friendliness you receive. Exceptional kudos to all of the staff for a job that is always well done

Brazilian Blowout-BLEW my mind:). Nikki did a brazilian blowout on my hair and I could not be happier! She took my large quantity, chia-esque frizz ball, and made it sleek and silky smooth. The process was laborious, but Nikki never grew faint. She took her time-and quite a lot of it-considering I possess the same amount of hair as 4 standard poodles. I was so pleased with the results. For a girl with a lifetime of out of control curls, Nikki worked her magic.

Patrick is the best!. I am new the area and recently checked out Ryan's salon. I often avoid nicer salon's because of the general "snooty attitude" of people who work in them. I was VERY glad I went to Ryan's - the staff was not only very welcoming but you can tell that the stylists (Patrick, specifically who I saw) have a very personal way of making you feel like you are not just a cut, you're a client.

Overall my haircut was excellent and I wasn't just treated to hospitality, Patrick was also funny!

I would reccomend this salon to anyone who is looking for a great quality cut and a personalable experience.

Nikki/ Excellent Stylist. I have been a customer of Nikki's for the past 2 years and followed her to Ryans Salon. My hair cuts and color have always been excellent. Nikki is professional and vey detailed oriented. I have always been treated with respect at Ryans salon. I would recommend this salon to anyone in the Charlotte area.

I have seen nikki and patrick a few times.... Both are great listeners, and have ideas to accomodate my hair needs. I really enjoy Kari at the front great humor and a comfortable place to be!

Great, Terrible, Great But owner has no heart!. I was seeing Lauren B who is no longer there...great stylist....offered to try Nikki who decided my trim should become an entirely different haircut....on a Sat...two days of crying....went back and Patrick fixed beautifully but at the end of the day Im with a haircut I worked almost a year to grow out...Im not happy. I left 2 messages for the owner manager to call me back to get compensation for paying for a cut I did not ask for and for the fact that Ill now have to wait many months to get back what I worked so hard for...and not a response. Bad customer service.....Patrick was great....sadly I did not see him first....but supporting a salon that is in it for the wrong reason is not my style....I will be reversing the charges on my credit card with a dispute...I did not recieve what I asked for....and its time we stand up for our rights had it been a meal or a product purchase we would recieve a refund....I asked for a discount or courtesy future cut...and cant even get a call back. There are many competetors....Im sure I can replace the salon.....I want to find Lauren Bernstein if anyone knows where she is
