FYI: Refund for Living Social deal. If you purchased the Living Social deal and haven't used it yet, you can get a credit if you give Living Social a call. They are aware that the business has closed and will help you out since the deal hasn't expired yet.

Refund for customers?. If anyone finds out how to take action regarding money lost for gift cards please share the details. This is an absolutely ridiculous way for them to conduct business and evidence of why they are no longer in business.

OUT OF BUSINESS??????????????????. I donot believe WENTFORD SPA is in business anymore. I had an appt. last week & could not get anyone on the phone. I drove 110 miles round trip to find out they were all locked up with mail on the inside on the floor. I left several messages on their answering machine & a note in their mailbox. I didn't get a response. I just called up there now & their phone has been temorarily disconnected. Thank you.

Out of Business. This spa has closed and is not honoring any gift cards. No warning at all and left me holding a $250.00 gift card. Very disappointing!

Sad goodbyes!. We have tried for many years to give the best service! Have had good reviews and some in the past few months not so good! So..sorry you guys where not happy! Think about your reviews when you post them..pretend your parents or yourselves are in biz! We were on top for a long time and now with the owners declining health issues she was trying to keep it going...please be aware she tried so hard to make all happy. In the future..think about what you write on the web.. and know that The Wentford Spa had tried so hard to make all happy!

Don't go here for a mani/pedi!. I had the same experience as the other negative reviews. I'm confused as to how this place is still in business if people are receiving the same service as I did. My "spa" pedicure was nothing more than a 10 minute soak in scented water and a mint foot wrap for another 10 minutes. The heels of my feet were barely scrubbed, my toe nails were unevenly filed, and the polish was left on my skin. My manicure was even worse... it consisted of a lotion rub for 1 minute (if that..) and my nails were filed straight across, leaving pointed edges. I saw a beverage list in the waiting area, but was never offered anything. While the women were nice-- my experience left me feeling annoyed and still in need of a mani/pedi! I expect the spa will respond to this like they have with the other negative reviews-- I didn't say anything because I already wasted 2 hours & didn't want to waste anymore time. In addition, it was clear to me that the women were either inexperienced or just not good. I will never return, will never recommend. I'll stick with the nail salon's you can find in almost any shopping center.

Great Spa!. I love this place, everyone there is truly there for you and make you feel amazing. Terry, the owner, is funny, sweet and laid back. She makes you feel at home and at ease. She listens to what you want and provides you with knowledge that only someone who really knows what they are doing can give. The employees there are all knowledgeable and have perfected their skills! The prices are great and the location is perfect! Nothing screams southern charm like an old house in the Dilworth Neighborhood, beautiful and charming!

Truly Sweet Staff!. I will always be a fan of The Wentford Spa!!!! Courtney is fab!!! She knew my name when I walked in. Spa is in an old house of which I love. Got here on a Living Social deal. Good prices for great services. Plus when I was leaving I overheard the massage therapist saying to a client that she could not do her massage cuz she was in a flair up with Lupus and did not want her in more pain.

What other place would do that...impressed!!!!

Best Little Kept Secret!. I have been to many places in Charlotte to find a good Brazialian wax!!! FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!! She uses the "hard wax" that I was used to in Atlanta. Called many places they had no idea what I was talking about! Plus the tech was concerned about me for a change!Not just getting it done and out the door. Asked me how the temp was in the room, gave me a fan to keep my mind off of it and even put powder on my hands when they were sweating!!! Love them...will try other services as well

Had a Great Time!. I have been to many places after buying a living social or groupon looking for my "spa home". Well I have found it!! They treated me like I was part of the home!When I walked in Courtney knew my name. Mary is the best I have ever been to for shellac nails!!! She truly wanted me to be happy. Will never go anywhere else!!
