The Scene
Hardwood floors, brass rails and lace demi-curtains add comfort to the simple room, while a brass-covered ceiling and dark wood accents help make it feel warm and inviting. The wait staff is friendly and well-versed in the subtleties of French food.
The Food
The menu, which also offers a few Belgian specialties such as waterzooi di poissons, changes seasonally. Look for the stuffed breast of chicken with goat cheese and spinach, and any type of grilled fish. If you hear carrot soup with a touch of cream when the specials are recited, you've found a winner. Prices are far more reasonable than one might expect for French food. Desserts are made in-house.

I was there on Saturday night, first time. We waited 1 1/2 for our order to be taken. I did see there was a band, and the house was packed, but that length of time was ridiculous. When we did order the waitress was gracious. The food did come in about 45minutes. The food was generally good, nothing too exciting. I don't know if they were understaffed, but the kitchen must have been overwhelmed. When it was time to get out check , one person in my party saw some extra charges on her bill. But she knew it would take for ever to get corrected, so she just paid it. We noticed at the table next to us, the same conversation going on, and they requested the manager. Just double check your bill. Overall and okay experience, maybe good on a less busy night.

Went for brunch and selection was lacking, service was painfully slow, and food was sparse and carelessly prepared, bordering on bland. Prices were outrageous for such poor quality.
