The Chicken Salad Melt is Fantastic!. I haven't tried much from here but I recently ordered their Chicken Salad Melt. It was fantastic!! I order from them about once a week now.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Even in a new location with a new chef, the oldest restaurant on East Boulevard is eternally reliable for a laid back bar experience (complete with 4 flat screen TVs) and a simple American meal off the changing specials board.

Not your typical Bar & Grill. Great place for lunch! Wide variety on the menu. Grinders are EXCELLENT! Always seated quickly and served promptly.

Great bar food- Best cheese steak outside Philly. Good neighborhood bar. Great bar food. Dine outside if possible... inside is dungy looking and is stuffy.

Consistently good--and satisfying--meals..
The Scene
One of the nicest things about this place is that it never changes; you can stop by next week or next year, and the menu probably will be identical. (In fact, we're not sure the Specials board changes, either.) That means you'll spend your first few visits learning which meals are your favorites, then and a month later, when you're in the mood for a great bowl of chili and a spinach salad, you'll know just where to turn.
The Food
The other nice thing? Every meal we've tried over the years has been consistently good--whether it's been a pizza, a burger, a salad or one of the loaded baked potatoes. (So resist the urge to fill up on free popcorn, okay?) As bars go, this one's passable: a decent beer selection, a few TVs and friendly service. Scattered sports mementos on the wall suggest that this could be a sports bar, but don't be fooled: the emphasis here is on simple, satisfying meals.

Please come join us at the NEW East Boulevard Bar & Grill! We have moved to a newly-renovated location at 1315 East Boulevard, Suite 130 at Latta Pavilion. We have a new chef, great food, cold drinks, flat screen TVs, WIFI, and great prices in a wonderful new atmosphere. Our whole menu is made fresh, in house and served from 11:00 am to 2:00 am seven days a week!
