What People Are Saying About Thai Taste
Love Thai Taste
by christanorman at Citysearch
Hands down the best thai food in Charlotte. Thai Taste is a staple and we actually crave their food. They use very fresh ingredients and I have yet to be disappointed. I highly recommend going here. We moved here from the DC area where the restaurant competition is very high and this place is as good if not better then many of the places we frequented.
Bad Selection Terrible Prices

The food had no taste except that of the heavy spices used. The selection was poor, and for two lunches and two drinks, the ticket came to over $21.
Will not recommend nor frequent ever again.
- Cons: Poor Taste, Expensive Prices
Thai Taste

Great customer service, great food, great prices. I was craving thai food when I came back from Thailand, so found this gem of a place when I googled up Charlotte. Been there for 20 years so I figured "hell, I'll give it a try" and found myself addicted to the place. My recommendation: Pad Kee Mou, best hangover food in the world!
- Pros: Good stuff.
- Cons: No kid's menu; had to special requests some smaller dishes for the kids.
Thai Restaurants ...no contest.

Ate at quite a few thai restaurants and I can honestly say Thai Taste has the competition beat. Lunch time can be quite a zoo as people sometimes wait in line in get in here. But food can come out in a matter of minutes. Good food, good price = win.
Only problem was no sweet tea : \ Should be a crime in the south.
Unic location customer service leaves a LOT to be desired

Customer service at this restaurant is awful!
A few gal pals went to try it last night with the majority not having tried Thai before and probably won't try it again - at least not at the East Arbors venue of Thai Taste...
There were 8 of us and 3 had coupons from the Clipper magazine that stated BOGO entree. However the waitress told us we could only use one coupon per table. (now I know that this is often the case but if that is so, it is PRINTED on the coupon which is wasn't in this case). We tried to reason with the waitress about this policy but were shut down and when we asked to speak someone in management we were told there was no one higher than her on the premises
Anyway, we sucked it up and had a fun night out (no thanks to the restaurant though ) but when it came time to pay, the bill was placed on the table as ONE list of ordered items (depite having asked for separate checks) and we had to get up and go to the cashier and pay for our order individually. So if we were treated as individuals when paying, why not accept the coupons as it didn't make any difference about whether we were a party of 8 or 2 as each one had to pay individually anyway???
I STRONGLY suggest you avoid this restaurant. The experience was not a pleasant one which is a pity as it had potential.
