TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVCE - DO NOT USE!!!

This store has appaling customer service. I left in person and voicemail messages about an item I ordered and they never called me back. When I finally got a live person on the phone - the day I was leaving for my wedding - and asked about the item they hung up on me and wouldn't answer the phone again. Do not use this business - they apparently have no idea how to treat customers - or deliver orders on time.
- Pros: they hand make the veils so there is a good variety
- Cons: they are unreliable, do not make deadlines, are inflexible, have terrible attitudes and terrible customer service.

I purchased a very pretty headpiece there and was told that I could exchange it if I did not end up wearing it. I did not end up wearing it at my wedding just because it did not work out with my updo and veil, and I tried to exchange it for earrings after the wedding took place. After the manager very rudely explained to me that I was wrong and they did not accept exchanges, which I would have accepted as an earlier miscommunication and left it at that, she went on to accuse me of lying to her and trying to bring it back after I had worn it. After trying to convince her that I would never do that, she got annoyed and walked away and left me standing there.
High Prices? Check! Poor Customer Service? CHECK!

First of all- let me just say that I looked forward to going to Brideshead to order my veil from the beginning stages of my wedding planning process. My in-store experience was fine (other than the fact that it was 80 degrees in there but the customer service was acceptable). I think their prices are high (approx $100 for the veil and $200 for the headpiece) but was willing to pay the price for a quality veil. I was promised that the veil would be finished in 2 weeks. Now, I'm sitting here, 4 weeks later, with NO VEIL! I've made repeated calls only to be rudely informed that "it isn't ready yet." No one can offer an explanatio of why it's taking so long or when I can expect it. My bridal portraits are next week and no one from Brideshead can even return a phone call to me. I'm beyond frustrated and am would never recommend that anyone go there.
- Pros: it's a specialty shop...you'll get a unique product
- Cons: customer service
