Best breakfast in Charlotte. Go early on a weekend or plan on waiting in line! The omelettes and pancakes are well worth it. Big servings, so come hungry or be ready to share. I recommend the blueberry pancakes. Delicious!

I love the Original Pancake House. I cannot say enough great things about the breakfast here.
The eggs are perfect. They are not too done- just right. The meats are not your normal meats like you find in the grocery store. The bacon has no fat on it. It is lean and full of meat. The sausage is delightful. I also have not found any breakfast restaurants that serve old fashioned oatmeal. Their oatmeal is better than I make it at home- by far. It is so creamy and delicious. The grits are as well. They even serve cream of wheat!
The omelets are huge and the size of a big plate. The dutch baby is huge as well and is a wonderful change from the traditional breakfast foods.
I highly recommend what I call "OHOP"!…
Breaking the Fast. Apart of my trips to Charlotte include breaking the night's fast with the pancakes. What a way to start the day!!!
