In Short – Ten minutes after noon, patrons find a good kind of chaos when coming for chicken. Customers find a good place to wait among the bustling crowd the couple of minutes until their order is boxed and bagged. Price's has been selling fried chicken to every social class for decades. It's takeout-only, always hot, always greasy, always moist, and really, really good.

Believe the hype

First time there and can't wait to go back. Ate it at home a few hours after we bought it. It was great, but next time I'll eat it in the car when it's still hot. The chicken is very moist and the skin is crispy. The livers are nice and crispy too. The potato salad is good, the slaw is a little soupy. The prices are ridiculously cheap. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

- Cons: Skip the slaw

Grease is not a spice

There is no seasoning. None. The only "spice" is a packet of salt you get in your box of chicken. Maybe this is how Southern fried chicken is supposed to taste, but if you're from another part of the country, you will be disappointed.

Greasy Not Fit To Eat

OMG I had heard the hype over this place when I first moved to charlotte. I had a chance to eat their it was terrible, food greasy and not fit to eat.......maybe you will have better luck than I did.
