Great Fried Chicken. Fried chicken is one of those comfort foods that I find myself trying wherever I go. Price's is 1b to Gus' World Famous Fried Chicken in Memphis' 1a. If you know Gus', you know that being 1b is quite the compliment. Every time I'm in Charlotte I have to make the pilgrimage to Price's. The folks working there are always smiling and I think that's because they know they are creating a memorable meal time after time. Well worth the time to find and stand in line...…

Best Fried Chicken I've Had. I've eaten here quite a few times since living in Charlotte and every time it reminds me of how lucky I am to have it so close to home. They run a well oiled machine here where you walk in (if you don't have to wait in a line) and order, pay, step to the right or left depending on what side of the counter you are on, take your food and walk out so the next person can get their fix. No questions, no issues, in and out situation.

The chicken is phenomenal; juicy and tender, always cooked to perfection. The crispiness of the skin and breading has a nice spice which gives it an amazing texture.

The sides are quick inexpensive ways of filling up your stomach and nothing spectacular, but it fits the bill with what you're getting. In your chicken box as I like to call it, you get a heaping load of tator tots, a roll, two hush puppies and coleslaw. Order a sweet tea, it's very good but it's also pretty darn sweet, but puts an end to a good old southern meal.

As I'm sure you're aware, It's not the healthiest meal, but it'll be one of the best ones you have.…
