Editorial Review for Discovery Place – by Jerry Salley
In Short
This science and technology museum features an enormous Van der Graaf generator crackling with menacing blue lightning bolts, a giant walk-through replica of a human eyeball and animatronic dinosaurs, complete with sound effects. A three-story rain forest, aquarium, NASA control-room simulation and other hands-on displays mean that the young ones--and their moms and dads--will have plenty to hold their attention. Discovery Place also hosts the Omnimax Theatre, a combination Imax theater and planetarium.

I have visited this place at least 4 times and I love each time I went. Excellent learning projects for all ages. Excellent classes that increases your information about the habitat and animals. Excellent eating area and clean. Would love to see an additional place for students to create their own projects or re-create projects on hand to inhance learning.
Pros: Variety of projects, Overall Cleanliness, Inexpensive for group
Cons: Expensive for single
