Very Hot Place!. This is a gooooodddd place... Very Nice baby! Good Service. Great Food. Great Coffee.
A historic crown jewel in the Queen City..
The Scene
This hotel originally opened in 1929 as the Mayfair Manor. When it was renovated in 1987, many of its period features were restored to their original elegance. The lavish lobby suggests the glamour of a bygone era with hand-sewn draperies, Oriental rugs and original artwork. But it's the regal service that makes this place stand out. It is an oasis for tourists and upscale business travelers amid the hustle and bustle of uptown.
The Details
Each individually decorated guest room features 18th-century furniture. As well, they contain modern amenities such as TVs and refrigerators well-stocked with complimentary beverages--both are cleverly concealed in an armoire. Work areas include antique desks, modem ports and voice mail. The sky-high penthouse suite offers a dining area, glass-enclosed Jacuzzi tub and gas log fireplace, as well as amazing views. The on-site Monticello was named Best Hotel Restaurant by "Charlotte Magazine." Guests enjoy privileges at the Crown Athletic Club.
WOW!.
What a GREAT Hotel! I normally stay at W or Ritz but when I was sent to Charlotte recently The Marriott was sold out, they recommended me to their sister hotel, the Courtyard. I have never stayed at one before, not really my thing, but WOW this hotel is awesome by far nicer than any hotel in the Charlotte area BEAUTIFUL contemporary design, awesome rooms and ecellent service!
