Elegant and accommodating. Our family of 3 enjoyed Carpe Diem for dinner. Not only did my husband and I enjoy the beautiful decore, attentive service and delicious food and wine, but our 7 yr old son found it a memorable night. Although it is not intended to cater to children, the staff accommodated our son by improvising a chicken breast into "chicken fingers" with mashed potatoes. Our son felt it to be a coming-of-age experience while my husband and I enjoyed dinner out in a lovely restaurant. And we prefer the pricing to many of the fashionable restaurants in Uptown. I can't wait to go back!…
Great food, beautiful restaurant!. The food never fails to wow! The decor is fabulous! I really have a hard time finding faults! You can come in and order an "old favorite" like the warm goat cheese salad or the buttermilk fried chicken OR pick from their ever changing menu items! There is something there for everyone...even my young children enjoy it!…
good date night restaurant. my wife and I just returned from a very pleasant meal at carpe diem. we will recommend this place to friends. we will return with our teenage daughters and we will return without them as well. food was very high quality, but wait staff was welcoming and friendly. not stuffy. requests were granted where possible. very acceptable alternatives were offered where requests could not be granted. credit a knowledgable wait staff. atmosphere was relaxing and conducive to conversation…

Very friendly and great food. I went to Carpe Diem for the first time and was very pleased. They were more than accommodating when we asked to move tables to the back room, even though we know it can be annoying since we are in the restaurant industry. Our server, Angeli, was delightful and made the whole experience even better. The best part is that the menu has something for everyone...fish, red meat, fried chicken (gourmet style of course), light, and heavy dishes. I love when an upscale place can prepare something like fried chicken to perfection, and it still fit the upscale style! I highly recommend this restaurant.…
