O.K.. We went here for a Sunday night dinner. Our service was fine and the food was okay but for the prices I was really expecting to be "wowed." My husband had the shrimp and grits which were pretty tasty. The pecan trout is also good but the sides were rather mediocre. Also, there were only four oysters on the oyster caesar salad. I guess we expected better.
Pleasant experience. I ate here in December of 2002, not December of 2003. We had a very pleasant dining experience. Our waitress was new but she did a fine job for the most part. Food was excellent and it was a good place for a business meeting.
Just average. I can't say this is a bad restaurant, I have just had better. I sat on the patio and enjoyed the evening breeze, which added to the enjoyment of the evening. I had the BBQ shrimp and oyster salad, along with appetizers of the Artesian cheese tray and olives. All were just OK, nothing very special. On top of this, the waiter dropped and broke about 4 dishes in the time we were there. We also went without silverware, and the 5 people I was with were served their entrees a few minutes apart. Not very classy, if you ask me. This place isn't bad, just not great. Try it for yourself I guess. I recommend sticking with the wine and patio and having dinner some place else.
excellent food and service.
We had an excellent meal with attentive professional service. We both had Red Snapper that was just wonderful.
And the deserts....... yummmmm
Outstanding Food and Service. I recently had a wonderful dinner at Mimosa Grill. The food was outstanding, and the decor was warm and unique. But the service was the shining star - the wait staff and the manager worked hard to ensure that our experience was exellent. With such food and such service, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Service With a Smile, No really!. Took my fiance for a nice date to Mimosa. The best dining experience i have ever had. The young lady that was our waitress was the most helpful young lady we have ever had. I had ordered sweet tea and she said they didnt have it, imagine that in the South! But she went out of her way to make me some herself! The food was also unbelievable. My fiance had a wonderful pecan crusted salmon, while I had double-cut pork chops. That is what a dining experience should be.
