Exellent mojitos

When living uptown we may Friday ($5 mojitos and they are the best I've had) a routine. Apps including arepas, empanadas and croquetas are all very good and the scallop entree is amazing. Service is fair, usually under staffed- which is a shame but I still love the food. PS. If sitting at the bar you can still order food and they are more attentive. There is a club upstairs late night so if eating late the music might be a problem.

• Cons: slow, not the best service

Outstanding

My wife and I tried Latorre's last Valentine's Day. Cannot remember EXACTLY what it was we had, but ordered the prefix menu special for the holiday. All I can say is we were blown away - first time having Latin cuisine like this but it was incredible.

Awesome!

The food was to die for, great selection of drinks, prompt service & good ambiance. They could use more desserts on the menu. It was a bit too loud for my taste (due to the music playing overhead & a big group of dinners screaming instead of conversing no doubt due to the many libations...). Definitely not the traditional Latin cuisine experience. My dining experience was on a weekday night.
