Nice, Low Key, place to Relax. Well, it depends what your in the mood for. I wouldn't go here just for the food. However, if you want to kick back with some friends or just have a beer after work, this is a good place to be. Good atmosphere, dim lights, fire place, friendly knowledgeable bartenders. Its nice and low key, no fuss. If you are hungry while there, ok, grab a bite, but don't expect fireworks in your mouth. The food is only alright. Managers are good, professional and attentive. I would keep going here for a beer and social time, before heading somehwere else to eat, or after having eaten somewhere else.

HORRIBLE staff. My husband and I used to frequent RiRa's weekly before the fire and have just recently found the time to return. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the new staff...to the point of disgust. After waiting at the table for almost 10 minutes, we were finally greeted by a somewhat rude young lady. No apologies for her delay and horrid attitude. We asked the drink specials, and to our dismay, our waitress had no clue. We then had to wait another 5 minutes or so while she scrambled around asking the bartender. Not only was I put off by her aloofness and lack of knowledge of the menu, I was pushed almost to the point of disgust by her ripped and drooping earlobes. It is apparent that she has had her ears "gauged" but is not wearing the jewelry at work. The piercing drooped several inches and appeared to be quite infected. This sight, combined with her inability to answer any of our questions about the food items, forced my husband and I to decide to eat elsewhere. I could not fathom the thought of my food being delivered by a young lady with visible infections and vulgar tattoos. We came to RiRa's in hopes of a great meal and Irish atmosphere, instead, we were transported into some punk rock dive. We know the food is phenomenal, but from now on we will picking up our meals "to go".

Good Authentic Feeling, Great Drinks, Pretty Good Food. Good Neighborhood pub feel to it. Nice staff, good food and great beer selection. Definitely a place to go if you just want to relax for an evening. Downstairs can be a little crowded in the evening as most of the dinner crowd is here and the bar doesnt seat many people. If you want a more intimate approach then head upstairs where it is more dark and only a few dinner tables. Also summer time they open the upstairs patio overlooking the Hearst Tower Courtyard.

Great atmosphere, Great bartenders, Awful Live Music. I have heard so much about Ri Ra's from friends at work that I just had to try it for myself. I did like the atmosphere, the people were charming and the food was delicious, I ordered the Pub Chop and I was pleased with how juicy and flavorful it was. Unfortunately, I unknowingly picked a night where there was a horrid guitar player playing wanna be cover songs, with seemingly himself on computer back up? It absolutely ruined my time. I will return I will just find out when that lad with the half beard and baseball cap will not be on stage.
