The Scene
This modern high-rise offers a combination of sleek style and regional charm. The vast lobby is clad in marble, and Cutter's Lounge (with its brown leather chairs) features over 75 premium cigars. Discovery Place, the Mint Museum of Crafts and Ericsson Stadium are within walking distance, and there's a Krispy Kreme and Starbucks right on the property.

With their mauve carpets and bedspreads, the guest rooms aren't as stylish as the public spaces, but there is a concierge level for those who want a little something extra. Accommodations are furnished with high-speed Internet access, voice mail and data ports. Hey, it's a MARRIOTT after all! The surroundings and furnishings were fantastic. The service--from the front desk to the late-night room service was superb. And the view of the Charlotte skyline from my room was breathtaking. As a woman who frequently travels alone, I appreciate surroundings which are both fashionable and safe. I had no difficulty going to the lounge alone. Love it, will return soon!
Pros: EVERYTHING!
Cons: NOTHING!

I have many meetings here and the hotel is magnificent. The rooms are spacious and the staff wonderful.
