The ants in the sink & bathroom are complimentary!. Days Inn is ghetto-fab, take away the "fab". My boyfriend and I unfortunately made this mistake twice. We stayed @ Days Inn @ Raleigh, N.C. and it had all it's furniture, yet not all the lights work, the bathroom leaves much to be desired. The staircase was NOT salted & it had snowed weeks before and it slippery and dangerous. I'm no sure the sheets have even been washed and was weary to even put my face on them when I went to sleep. I KNOW the top cover was not clean, everything smelled. Unfortunately I am optimistic and tried again- for my 25th I wanted to save everyone invited some money so we stayed @ Charlotte "center city" EVEN worse!! Our 1st room the lights again did NOT work.. so we changed rooms- where again the bathrooms were not up to par and again the cleanliness of the bed was questionable. My boyfriends friends after a 3 hour drive received a room with no iron, no ironing board, all furniture was mismatch- lights didn't work the lamp shades didn't match and had some unidentifiable stains on them and to top it ALL OFF, ANTS!!!! All over the sink the bathroom floor. Even the toilet paper is cheap and rips into pieces when you use it. Yes, we saved and only paid 75 each- BUT for what we received, I believe we were robbed 75 bucks! Disgusting!! And to think they actually have the nerve to raise their prices to 135 for CIAA weekend!! That's more than the Holiday Inn on a regular weekend. That is a sin that the place is still running, aren't there laws against this filth?

dont go near this place...everrrrrrrr!. Ok, so a hotel near downtown Charlotte surrounded by any and everything sounds good right? WRONG. This is the worst place to stay in Charlotte, good location but bad atmosphere.....the price was wrong for this budget hotel that didn't offer anything but a moldy, creepy bathroom with a horrible shower with a 1980s bath mat, couple hairs on the tile, dusty floorboards, dirty tiles anywhere imaginable. No frig/microwave combo, non-working ice machines, contaiminated pool that was closed during the summer (are you serious) that would have left you with three arms instead of two. Every known transiant/streetwalker/bum/homeless person that has ever had 60 bucks has probably stayed there at least one night and they just hang out front the other nights. Overall, this has to be worst Days Inn I've ever stepped foot in. But don't get me wrong, Days Inn is a great chain...but this one spoiled it for me and will probably spoil it for you. Take your money elswhere like a Super 8 on Clanton Road, about 3 miles from downtown.
