play area. I'm not pleased with the height discrimination my son has received at the indoor play area. I believe that there should be an age restriction instead. If a child is polite and plays well with others, how can you tell them they cannot play? He has always been assumed older than he really is due to his height. I allowed him to play because he was kind to others & I felt he shouldn't be punished for his height.

A fab place to walk till you drop, and spend, spend, spend.. In Short
The thing that makes Carolina Place stand out is the variety of stores they have. Unlike South Park, which is almost exclusively high-end, CPM has a store to fit any budget. Five big department stores including Hecht's and Sears anchor the mall along with over 140 specialty shops that carry clothes, knick-knacks, appliances and everything in between. After you've exhausted your feet and your wallet, chow down at the Rose Garden Food Court.

It's just a good place. I love shopping there! They have a good choice of stores and a very showy adjustement. It's good to go with the whole family, they have nice recreation areas, one with wonderful indoor playground. So my husband can hang around there with our little son - and I do a little shopping on my own.

The food corner is very good and they have nice prices - with one exeption: the italian one is very bad: we got there old (!) salad and when we wanted to change it the manager was very rude and laughed at us!

Plenty of comfortable seating, very clean and numerous restrooms, nicely priced shopping. My wife and I love shopping at this mall any time of the year. We enjoy the great mix of stores and the kids really like the play area. The food court has a nice selection and is conveniently located in the center of the mall. It is easy to get to from any part of charlotte and south carolina.
