Great experience, every time!. I am from upstate NY, and had a great mechanic. When my husband and I moved down here, I thought I would never find anyone like my hometown mechanic. A friend recommended Carolina Tire & Auto, and now I won't go anywhere else. The mechanics are HONEST, EFFICIENT, and ACTUALLY CARE!!! Recently I went in (mind you I have zero car knowledge), with issues with my tires. Turns out we put WAY too much air in them, and they could have exploded on my drive over even! They took me in the back and showed me exactly where to find the information on my tires and on the car. They showed me how to properly measure the PSI in the tires, and showed me how to release the air. They even gave me a tire pressure gauge on my way out. I can honestly say that I will use Carolina Tire & Auto for all my vehicles needs. The customer service CAN'T be beat! :) I can now hold my head up, with a little more knowledge about my tires!

Best in service. Carolina Tire and Auto Repair has always provided me with the best auto repair and maintenance service on our vehicles. The staff and their service are superb. Their facility is clean, and I always enjoy my experience there. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs reliable service.

Grab your ankles. I stopped in to get a serpentine belt replaced that I had in hand. It broke on my lunch hour so I went to AutoZone and bought one. I how long it would be to get to it and how long it would take. They said they could get to it "right now" and it shouldn't take long. 30 minutes later they pulled it in the shop. 1 hour later it was completed. They tried to charge me $212 for 2 hours of labor. I asked how could it take 2 hours when it was only the shop for 1 hour and I was there for 1.5 hours. They then corrected it and charged me a flat fee of $99.07. If this is their generic price for 1 hour of labor it is ridiculous. It shouldn't have take an hour to do it anyway. This is the first and last time I will visit here. They also pulled my car in front and left it running while the bill was being discussed. I am very unhappy with their service and will let everyone I come in contact with.

Carolina Tire & Auto - Celebrity Stop. Ok, before I go into my celebrity sightings, I have to say what a wonderful place Carolina Tire & Auto is. They didn't try to oversell me at all and I own a BMW. They took care of my issues and compared to the BMW dealer, it was a cake walk on price. Smart, quick and easy on the price.

Unless it was a coincidence, the last two times I was there I saw Steve Smith (Carolina Panthers) and the last time was Gerald Wallace (Bobcats). If they can take care of their cars, they can take care of mine. Enough said.

Never fixed Miata and didnt pay auto rental. My experience with this repair shop wasnt very good. My Miata needed a clutch repair which cost $700+. At the 3rd day in the shop the manager said they would pay for a day rental from Enterprise Auto Rental so I wouldnt be without a car for long. I thought that nice. I picked up my own car the next day & it seemed ok. I also dropped off the car rental at the same time at Enterprise. Then over next few weeks my car started to shimmy & shake off and on in 1st gear so bad the car felt like it would shake apart. I took it back to them & they couldnt find anything wrong with it. Another mechanic told me the clutch plate was probabley not in properly. Then a few months later Enterprise Rental car started calling me to pay for the car rental bill. My husband kept telling them the manager at Carolina Tire & Auto Repair said to bill them. The person at Enterprise said they tried to bill them and they wont pay it so I ended up paying for the car rental bill also. I will never go back to this shop again. Not worth it.

Master Technician at Carolina Tire. I was absolutley blown away by the auto repair skills at Carolina Tire. I took my car to Hendrick, to Tuffy, to Firestone. No one could find the problem. Carolina Tire figured it out and got me back on the road at much less the cost than Hendrick or Tuffy or Firestone. Trust Carolina Tire

Best place in Charlotte for auto repair!. I have been coming to Pineville Tire for several years and won't go anywhere else. The folks at Pineville tire have always been extremely helpful and accomodating. I have been pleased with the services I have received there and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I Just Love Carolina Tire. I'm a retired CMS teacher and went to Carolina Tire today. Jim spent so much time with me explaining to me and showing me my old belts on my car. I never knew they ran so much.

I sat on their very comfortable couch, Jim made me some popcorn, I watched Home & Garden TV and just really enjoyed myself. It is so clean and just made me feel like home.

I trust no other auto repair place more than Carolina Tire. They have my business for life.

Carolina Tire # 1 in South Charlotte. Carolina Tire was absolutely great with my Honda Odyssey. My wife took it in for a free brake check and their skilled mechanics found a leak in my radiator. Their service advisor Stephanie took the time to take my wife out to the car, show her the leak and explain to her what it was and why it needed to be repaired.

My 6 year old daughter was with her and it was hard for her to leave because of the great kids playroom they have at Carolina Tire.

This place is hands down the best repair shop in all of South Charlotte. I went there after to get my oil changed and I saw Mercedes, Honda, BMW's and Ford's all being worked on in this clean shop.

If you are going to another repair shop, you owe it to yourself, your car and your family to go to Carolina Tire and try it out. You will be extremely pleased.
