I purchased an engagement ring at Skatells. I purchased an engagement ring at Skatell's in Charlotte and couldn't be more happy with the customer service I received or the deal on the ring. There was no pressure to buy out of my budget. There were no extra fees added on the end. The diamond I bought was at a great price and most importantly my fiance loves it. After proposing, I needed the ring sized quickly before she went out of town and they came through with the great customer service they promised. I'd definitely suggest going to Skatell's.

Excellent!. Excellent! Mike has been wonderful to work with. My fiance bought my engagement ring from Skatells. We are heading back for your wedding bands and will be back for all of our jewelry in the future! I like that they have outstanding knowledge of their product, are not pushy, friendly and a family owned business! Don't go anywhere but Skatells for your jewelry, especially when it comes to a wedding!!

Outstanding service!. We took my daughter's ring her for sizing and we were greeted with a warm friendly manner! It was ready in less than 24 hours! Would certainly return here again!!!

Love the quality and uniqueness!!!!!. Wonderful experience at Skatell's. Very talented jewelry designer and the most professional service. Designed a GORGEOUS piece of jewelry at my request with the most unique idea. LOVE it!!!!!! Worked with other jewelers and feel that Skatell's is superior.

Great Customer Service!. Skatell's has been incredibly helpful to my fiance and I as we designed my engagement ring and our wedding bands. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, and they genuinely care about making you happy as the customer. They certainly love their jobs because throughout the several visits we've shared since October, they have been just as enthused as we have been to get our jewelry! They have such great attention to detail and truly put your wants first. You always feel like a priority customer as soon as you enter the door. I don't think we'll ever go back to conventional jewelry again, knowing we can go to Skatell's and get EXACTLY what we want at a decent price! I get compliments on my engagement ring ALL the time and really couldn't be happier with the experience.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Prior to working with Mike at Skatell’s, they were recommended to me by my family and friends. Until working with Mike, I had never purchased a piece of jewelry before in my life and was jumping in feet first to design an engagement and wedding band set for my now fiancé.

With a few ideas in mind, Mike took the time to sit down with her and I and gave us undivided attention. He knew we were both a bit hesitant as we had never looked at diamonds before. We were asked the kinds of things we liked in jewelry and we came up with a few ideas of what we would be interested in. We were then shown many different options to help us narrow down to a few choices. My fiancé and I talked about our choices and went back to him explaining we were torn between two sets. Skatell's was able to merge the two rings in a custom set and after looking at the design, we realized this had always been what her and I had wanted.

Once the rings were ordered, I couldn’t wait to pick them up. The completed rings took my breath away. What Mike and Skatell’s was able to create were the most amazing and beautiful rings my fiancé and I could have ever imagined. It was our privilege to be able to work with Skatell’s. The attention we received, the level of service and quality of the work was far above what we had expected. I will recommend Skatell’s with highest regards as they made my dreams come true with what I wanted to give my fiancé.

OUTSTANDING FROM BEGINNING TO END. I walked into Skatell's on a referral. It was an excellent example of superior customer service from start to finish. Erin was knowledgeable about how to re-set 24 year old wedding/engagement rings. She gave me information. Direction. Options. Pricing. She was so good in fact....that my search for the right person to handle my request ended right there. The job was completed on time and on budget. And my "new" rings are more beautiful than I would've ever imagined they could be!! For friendly, expert service, that was professional and timely.....look no further. Everything and more that I had hoped for. I am 100% pleased that I chose Skatell's. GREAT JOB!

Poor Custom Design. I had a very unfortunate experience with Skatells with redesigning my wedding set. I chose Skatells based on so many wonderful reviews online as well as a recommendation from a friend. The entire process was short of what was promised at the beginning. The computer images were never provided as was promised when I began the design. The first set produced had many of the qualities that I had not wanted in the new set that we had discussed. One of my accent diamonds did not look right and when asked she said it was "an inclusion". I knew these stones were clear when I dropped them off and were examined by both of us and this "inclusion" was never there. I took the ring to another jeweler who examined the stone and said it was "fractured"=broken. In fact, when the stone was removed to return to me it came out in pieces. In the end, I seriously questioned their integrity and honesty and wanted my stones returned and a refund. Skatells did not deliver as promised and were dishonest in the process. The process was extremely heartbreaking as wedding sets are very emotional and took over 3 months. I would not recommend Skatells for custom design.
