Best Ribs and Steak in NC!. I've been eating here for years!

They have great BBQ, burgers, chicken, bottomless hushpuppies, and salad bar

but their ribs and steaks are to die for!!

The girls are always so friendly and you will never go thirsty because they keep your glass full.

Overall a great family restaurant

Poor Service High Prices. For the price of the food, it was like getting a sample plate.

They do give you some free hush puppies, But only a couple per a person, we had four people eating. The reason for 2 stars is the fact I had to get up to get a drink refill. And then ended up having to cook up a snack for my kids when we got home. This was my first visit to this particular hillbilly's, I normally goto the one in Gastonia on Garrison Blvd. Were service and portions of food is much larger.

Great Food, Great Price. Their food is super! I love the hushpuppies, love the minced barbecue, love the ice tea, love the salad bar. Prices couldn't be better. I really don't understand what the person that couldn't spell was trying to say with their review. Maybe they own a restaurant nearby and would rather you eat at their place...

Pretty good Barbeque, and GREAT service. I'm a "yankee" - new to the area, and no expert on southern barbeque. But I think the food here is just great. Very simple, no frills restaurant, with pretty good prices and 100% no smoking :) One of the best things they have going is their excellent service. Most of the basic barbeque plates are mostly pre-made, so your order comes out lightening quick. After we received our order today, the waitress kept checking back... "How is everything?... Do you have everything you need? ... Can I get you anything else?...etc" She must have checked on us five times in ten minutes, which I really appreciate.
