BEST SALES PEOPLE EVER!!. We just bought a 2011 F150 in September from there and then Yesterday March 8th we bought a 2012 Mustang Pony..we LOVE JEREMY & DARREN they are AWESOME they know information about the vehicles they are selling they don't try to tell us something about a vehicle that is not true (WE HAVE DONE OUR RESEARCH) but overall all of the sales staff is nice & cool..KIM was EXCELLENT in getting us a great rate through FORD credit. But I will NOT recommend the service department..PAUL in service was rather rude twice to us.

Overall what a GREAT PLACE TO BUY A CAR!! I recommend the sales department to EVERYONE but *NOT* the service department. HATS OFF TO..KIM,JEREMY,& DARREN! THANK YOU I LOVE MY 2012 PONY CONVERTIBLE

Will Be Back. I had an oil change at Huntersville Ford ealier today. I came on my lunch break and was hoping to get it done during that time. It took a little over an hour to complete, but they were real nice and got me out as quickly as they were able.

I will go back for service in the future, just might not try to cram it into my lunch break.

Top Notch. Been coming here for a while. Always happy with Paul and Rob. Got some really good deals off their Twitter too, which helps me save a ton of $$

Stupid and Dishonest. If you have a Ford in the Lake Norman area- the not too bright service department cashier at Huntersville Ford just admitted to us that even though we have a coupon for an $18 oil change (and wanted to pre-pay so we could pick it up tonight), it will cost a lot more because they WILL find something wrong with my car, and it WILL require "some parts" therefore I could give him my credit card number and he could charge us for whatever was wrong when they were finished fixing it. This was before he even saw my car. When we objected and told him that we were ONLY going to get an oil change and not authorize anything else I think he realized what he had just done and then he changed his mind and told us that we couldn't pre-pay because it was an insurance issue. When we asked to speak to the manager, the manager wouldn't speak to us, but did tell the cashier to go ahead and do it. I know that dealerships are generally dishonest, but not a great idea to have your employees admitting it to your customers and to have management hide in their offices when there is a problem.

Wouldn't suggest it. I purchased a 2008 F150 from them in April and have been giving them chances ever since because they are a little more convenient to me than other dealers in the area. It started with picking it up for the first time and having to come back the next day to have them finish up something that couldn't be completed after I was told "Yes your truck is ready", not "It isn't completely ready but you can pick it up and bring it back tomorrow if you want to get it today". A week later, I had to bring it back for another problem they were supposed to fix when I purchased it, but because the repair was done half-ass, it broke again. This time, they got it right. Luckily I was in no need of service since April (except for oil change & tire rotation which I took elsewhere) until recently. I had a terrible squeak when changing temperatures. I called them up, set it up to drop it off and have it repaired. After a few hours, they called and told me what it would be. I thought the price was pretty high ($350) and total parts was only $45. Unfortunately this was not under warranty either and I needed it done so I agreed to have it done. Unfortunately for me it was a busy day and didn't have a lot of time to spare, but I did find some time to call Mooresville Ford and get a quote from them on the exact same service. The quote is for a blend door actuator replacement. They told me there would be $89 diagnostic (which Huntersville charges as well) to ensure the blend door was actually the cause, and if it was they would apply that $89 to the service work and would be a total of $170. Huntersville Ford does not apply the $89 to the service... that's $89 in their pocket. Huntersville's total price was over DOUBLE what Mooresville wanted. Of course once I determined this, the work had been done. I brought this up to one of their service guys and he said the difference in price was because of my "aftermarket radio having more plugs and being more difficult to remove than the factory". My aftermarket radio has 2 additional plugs and they are RCA jacks... no special tools to remove and everything is color coded. They did end up giving me a $50 refund, but still yet that's $130 off of another quote from another Ford dealer. Once I made it out to my car I noticed that my radio hadn't been put back in correctly. I grabbed the service guy and showed him and he said "Oh well it looks like this dash has been pulled off a few times so that's probably why it isn't sitting correctly." ... While in college I worked for a custom automotive shop and I've installed quite a few systems. Instead of taking the dash apart to see that the tech had FAILED to put back 2 spacers that make the radio sit flush, they automatically jumped to the conclusion that because this truck wasn't factory, it was just screwed up! This isn't the first aftermarket radio they've ever seen and I'm sure it won't be the last. But it will be the last time they will ever seen my vehicle. I would not send my enemy to Huntersville Ford.
