I used to go to Lencrafters to get all my glasses but one day I was having issues with my eyes so I tried to get an appointment like asap and Piedmont Eye Care fit me in. Their doctor doesn't rush you, he tries to take time so you understand everything. He was absolutely wonderful!!! Then I was looking at glasses and they are $500 less then what I had been spending! So my wallet loves them too!!!

Dr. Scott is fantastic. Not only is he young, hip, and fun, but he's extremely knowledgeable.

This was my first eye exam in about 8 years - I've never needed vision correction until now. I noticed myself getting a headache every day at work, found myself squinting at the movies, and driving at night became mildly dangerous. Dr. Scott put me at ease. He explained every part of the exam in detail so that I would understand why that part of the test was needed. For a glasses newbie, I appreciated her automatic explanation and patience while answering my 1,346 questions.

It turns out I needed glasses, badly. Dr. Scott turned me over to Pat and she went around pulling frames that would look good on my face. I ended up with a chic pair of Vera Bradly frames that were fairly budget friendly. My insurance picked up about 2/3rds of it, so thankfully I got out of here for under $300, which I thought was very reasonable considering the quality of frames and the special coating for astigmatism that one of my lenses needed.

My entire experience here was top notch. The entire staff was awesome, you can tell they love what they do. You won't get this level of service at a budget shop.

I have been going to Piedmont Eye Care for almost 20 years! They have such a friendly staff and are so helpful! They can help you pick out glasses that look good! They don't make you feel pressured to buy anything. But, the doctor is wonderful! He takes his time and makes sure you have a thorough eye exam. He answers all your questions and makes you feel comfortable, which at a doctors office rarely happens anymore. I tell all my friends and family to go there so they don't get ripped off like other eye doctor offices around, or like Walmart end up getting cheap glasses that don't last.

The best eye examination for the whole family. I have just moved to gastonia and I was looking for a place to take my family, my daughter needs new glasses, and a friend told me about Piedmont eye care. So we went and they were so friendly! The doctor is so thorough, he made sure we understood what he was doing through every step. I was really impressed. I have never been to an office that was that kind and considerate. You can tell we are in the south! I friend recommended them to me and I would recommended them to anyone!!!

Great service by the entire staff. Great service by the entire staff. Our family's experience with this office was excellent. The doctor was fantastic, spending the time to answer our questions and gave us one of the best eye exams we have ever received. We were very happy with assistant who helped us with our eyeglasses. She made getting new glasses enjoyable.

Wonderful eye care. Dr. Scott cares for my mother, who has glaucoma and cataracts. He does an excellent job explaining these diseases to both of us. It seems like now a days very few doctors spend time to explain the disease processes to my mother like Dr. Scott does. My mother is elderly and we have been to a couple different eye doctor in Gastonia and Belmont but Dr. Scott is the only one that put in the time to help my mother understand everything that was going on in the examination. She normally hates going to the eye doctor but now she does not mind it. We are so thankful to the doctor and staff of Piedmont Eye Care for helping my mother with her eye.

Great Place for great eye care!. I had my lasik done several years ago and have been extremely happy. In my opinion, Dr. Scott offers the best technology for a very reasonable price. The office was busy but in my opinion that is a good thing - that just means he's had more experience! And when I'm talking about my eyes - I want the most experienced guy in town! Dr. Scott was pleasant and was patient in answering all my questions.

Amazing place with great people.. I recently changed eye doctors, my last eye doctor was terrible. When I went to Piedmont eye care in Gastonia by the library and museum, I was immediately consumed by the staffs friendly nature and they were so helpful. They helped me find a nice pair of glasses that I have received a number of compliments. When I went back to see the doctor, he was so good at explaining everything and in a way that I could understand. I would definitely recommend this eye care to anyone. It has made me feel more comfortable about going to the eye doctor.

Awful service. The staff of this place is not friendly and they will try and rip you off. They will not tell you what you are paying for and you will have hidden charges. The staff treated me like a number and not like a person. In addition, the office is not welcoming and does not make you feel comfortable. The doctor wasn't really the problem, more the staff that work for him. I advise you to chose another eye doctor for that reason.

I loved this place.. Everyone was so nice and kind. This is the best eye place in NC!!!
