I have been going to Savvy for over 10 years and have enjoyed almost every service they offer. My new favorite service is the eye-lash extensions with Traci! I get so many compliments on my hair color by Katie. The best part is her understudy pricing is very affordable! Brazilian Keratin treatments have completely removed the frizz from my hair and helped me grow it out quickly. The airbrush tanning at Savvy is excellent- I never leave looking orange or splotchy. I am a huge fan of spa services such as facials and waxing, as well!!!The front desk staff are very friendly and will jump through hoops to be accommodating. I definitely recommend Savvy to anyone looking for a relaxing spa service or someone looking to have outstanding hair!

Not welcoming. After hearing so much about this salon, I decided to give them a call. I am so glad that I called first rather than driving out there for the experience. This salon definitely has their own way of doing things, and catering to their clients' particular needs is not part of their philosophy. My family is new to the area, and they made us feel so unwelcome and "unlike" the other people they service. I am not putting myself or my children through this, so we decided to look elsewhere. The owner's "my way or the highway" mentality may be working for her, but it does not work for us.

The Legacy continues of Service, Innovation, & Style. I have been connected with Savvy Salon and Day Spa since opening. My first observation has alway been the quality of the stlyist and other specialist in their field, like massage therapist etc. I love the innovaiton of the team as they work with difficult hair to make the best possible result appear. Love the pedicures and manicures. The way the staff are so professional comes across is a very easy way with wonderful sense of humor.When walking out the door you are feeling wonderful and that you have made new friends!

Always something new!. My daughters and I have been Savvy clients for many years. Just when we think we have tried it all Pat adds new services. It is always nice to know that the old patron is just as important as the new one. Keep up the great job!

Great Facial Experience. I recently had surgery and my wife treated me to a facial to get me out of the house. It was my first time and I was pleasantly surprised with the service. It was very relaxing and just what I needed. The Spa area was very clean and Alyssa was very informative throughout the process. I will be returning for another facial in the near future. Thanks for the great experience.

BEST HAIRCUT AND BEARD TRIM IN EIGHT MONTHS!. I'm a college professor new to the Charlotte area, with my first faculty meeting scheduled for the next day, and with my hair and beard having me looking like an aging hippie. (There's some truth to that, but I needed to look respectable enough to teach law students.) Over the past eight months in the Charlotte area, I have walked away from every haircut and beard trim saying to myself, "Oh, well, hair grows back and I'll try somewhere else." After reading great reviews on Angieslist, I called Savvy Salon late in the afternoon and they gave me an appointment for an hour and a half later! My young stylist, Lindsay, listened carefully as I told her what I wanted and then she asked questions to clarify my wants and make sure that she understood. As she clipped, she asked more questions and I "coached" her. I always coach a new stylist, because my hair and beard are a bit challenging and I've learned a lot about what works and what doesn't. Lindsay listened and then clipped accordingly. When I start with a new stylist, he/she MUST be coachable for me to get a good result. The others I had gone to in the Charlotte area were not good listeners or they listened to my instructions and then did it THEIR WAY.

When I asked Lindsay if she was good with beards, she said, "I really don't have much experience with beards." Honesty! Amazing! Several of my previous Charlotte area stylists had said "yes" but almost as soon as they started cutting, I knew that my beard was in trouble. Lindsay asked around among the other members of "the team." A couple of the stylists said they could do a good beard trim, but they had clients in their chairs. The owner of Savvy Salon, Pat Helmandollar, had been paying attention to all of this. She came over, picked up a pair of shears (the only way for me to get a good beard trim - never an electric trimmer) but trimming a beard with shears requires a lot more skill and more time. Pat taught Lindsay as she gave me one of the best beard trims I've ever had.

All of the people at Savvy were warm, welcoming, client-centered - focused on giving me the best possible service and the best possible experience. I was delighted to be there! For my next appointment, I am scheduled to see Lindsay for my haircut and then another stylist who is experienced and skilled in trimming beards. They really do work as a team!

Great Salon and Day Spa. I have been a client for several years at Savvy Salon & Day Spa. I am a regular in the hair salon, seasonal in the nail salon and hope I am given a gift certificate for

any spa treatment.

It is a well run, professional and learned establishment. Pat Helmandollar, the owner does a fabulous job and has owed the establishment for 15 years.

I highly recommend this salon!

Treat Yourself. I have been a client for several years and will not go anywhere else! I have never had a bad experience. This salon is full of friendly, smiling, down to earth ladies!

Jessica is my stylist and she knows her stuff gals!

I have tried numerous products and there has never been a problem with me exchanging if I found they didn't work for my hair. I am an Aveda gal and they have an awesome selection!

I tried the new makeup line last summer. ... Jane Iredale. I have been using it ever since. It has better coverage than what I had used previously and you get more for your buck. These days that means alot!

Go pamper yourself .... without breaking the bank ladies!!

Best Haircut Ever!. Well, I went to Savvy because I wanted to change my look. After going to many other hair cut places and been so dissapointed many times with the service they provided

I decided to try one more place, Savvy Salon and Spa was rated one of the top on the internet. I email them to get an appointment and very promptly received an email back from the manager, I explained to her my bad experiences with other salons and she was so wanting to make this experience with them great that she herself gave me my new look. It took her almost 2 hrs to get my hair perfect to the last strand of hair...and it's not because she didn't know what she was doing, I just have very stubborn hair and lots of it ,she did an awesome job and made me feel like my business was important to them. lots of places out there don't even care if you come out happy, they only care about making the buck as we say. Savvy was different! they make you feel welcome from the time you step in the door to when you leave. I strongly reccommend them to anyone! I will be coming back. Thank you Pat for my new look...I love it!
