Average food and absolutely terrible service. Went there and waited for over 20 minutes for my food to come out. In that time I only saw my waitress one time, and she did not even refill my cup even though she was holding a tea pitcher. When I finally got my food it was cold and the bbq was full of fat. If you eat here you will be disappointed.

Had the misfortune of dining there, the BBQ was dry and cold, service was nonchalant, would not recommend this establishment.

I recently went to Troutman's Bar-B-Que with the family to eat supper. Nancy Mitchel was the waitress, she was very helpfull in making sure we ordered what we wanted. I think Nancy is the best waitress they have. The service was great and so was the food. These ladies have a very hard job and don't get paid near enought for the hard work they do. Please always leave them a good tip as they have bills to pay and need the money just like anyone else!

Very poor attitudes, from the person taking the orders over the phone to the woman behind the cash register. Most of the time the food is great, but on occasion the food is old and cold. Nothing worse than old dry BBQ. Have to say that service is slow, except once, there was the most friendly waitress that was efficient. Most of the time not that way.

Best pit-cooked hickory-smoked BBQ in town!. Best pit-cooked hickory-smoked barbecue in the town of Concord. The prices are the best anywhere around. They're working on the service. Xtra clean!!!

The Worst Service In Concord, Maybe Anywhere. I go to Troutman's for breakfast sometimes because it is not a typical chain and it is on my way to work. However, at the 601 location near Hwy. 49, they must have the laziest, sorriest excuses for "waitresses" in the world. When I order coffee with my breakfast I expect to pay $1.50 for a nickels worth of coffee, but I don't expect to get only one cup! You almost have to beg those girls to bring you a second cup, and forget about a third. It's not just one bad waitress. Every one of them is the same. I hear them in the kitchen area talking and laughing while we paying customers sit and wait. When they finally do get off their lazy backsides and come out to the diners, they don't usually bring the coffee with them. Instead they come out and ask it you might like a refill? If you say yes, they sigh as if you have just sentenced them to jail and reluctantly go away and maybe within 10 minutes they might bring you another cup. There isn't a waittress in the place that I have had in the last 3 weeks that deserves any tip. I will not ever eat there again as I am fed up with the terrible "service".

Poor service.... I have been going here for years. The service used to be good but now it is terrible! For the past year, the service has been going down hill. I wait and wait for someone to come to my table to take my order. Sometimes I have been known to stop the nearest server and ask her to take my order! And the other times I have simply walked out without ordering. I don't eat here much because of this. The barbecue is ok ...but not the best in town. I normally eat here because of convenience to my house. Hopefully you will receive better service than me.
