My Favorite Thai Restaurant.
LOVE THIS PLACE.
Atmosphere- Romantic, intimate, upscale casual
Service- Seems like there is a strong teamwork effort here. All servers seem to take care of all tables.
Food- Fantastic. My favorite is the Pad Prik Duck and Shu She Salmon. The flavors and spices are perfectly balanced and always perfectly spicy to my tasting. This was the first place I've tried duck and was a little weary at tasting it. SO GLAD I DID! They slow roast it so it is tender, flaky, and melts in your mouth. They have great sushi also, I especially like the Lobster Roll.
Dee Jai is definitely in my top 5 favorite restaurants in Charlotte.

Glass Noodles...Finally!.
My first time visiting Deejai was great! I have been looking for a Thai restaurant that has "glass" noodles for a few years (my girlfriend thought I made up glass noodles). I had them on multiple trips to large cities like NYC, Toronto, Chicago, but had not luck finding them in CLT.
The owner and staff were very friendly and I felt very comfortable here (can’t say that for most other Thai restaurants in Charlotte).
2 Entrees and a couple glasses of wine were all we needed to be completely satisfied as the portions were pretty big. I'm confident you'll like it once you try it after reading this.
Insider TIP: parking lot gets nuts b/c of the movie theatre, be ready to fight for a spot.
