BEST ITALIAN, UPTOWN CHARLOTTE. PARK IN THE BACK!!

This is a RED SAUCE Italian restaurant. If it is pizza, Subs, Pasta, Calamari, or Calzones, if it has red sauce on it, it is awesome.

Great Portions, Great Atmosphere, Family Run, Family Friendly business, straight from Brooklyn, NY.

This is a great place for Wonderful, Inexpensive Italian.

Grab a menu and call ahead for pick-up!

CHARLOTTES WORST EATERY!. Do not, I repeat do NOT, waste one single cent or minute of your precious time in this flea bag restaurant. If you can even call it that. The service sucks. The food is cold, greasy, and just plain nasty. There are so many other quality places to eat and drink in the area. Also, the owners are bigots and just plain rude.

Best Pizza in Charlotte!. I love Villa Francesca's Pizza. This little Italian restaurant is the perfect place to come eat a quick afternoon lunch, or sit down for a relaxing dinner with the family. Great food, all around.

Great Pizza, Great Atmosphere. Don't judge a book by its cover....Villa Francesca may not look like much from the outside, but inside is a different story. The walls have hand painted renditions of Charlotte hotspots designed by a local artist....and if you walk toward the bathroom you'll notice an archway with Venetian Gondola's cruising down the canals. Seems to be a popular spot for local celebs like brotha Fred, Morgan Fogarty, Panthers and Bobcats too, their pictures are all over the place. Oh yeah....and the food is awesome too ;)

Great Pizza, tricky to find. I used to live right next to Villa...we used to stop by late night for a slice on our way home from the bars when they first opened...their pizza slices are AMAZING at 2am let me tell you, haha. After a couple months though, they got settled and shut their doors for the late night crowd :( We actually watched the Olympics there with them....

Either way, I visit pretty regularly for a good pizza or when I'm in the mood for homemade tasting Italian dishes. My favorite is Penne with Grille Chicken with mushrooms...my GF likes the baked Ziti.

Of course, everything is great when you have a nice bottle of wine with it! haha
