Good in theory but poor in execution. The ambiance is good and the concept on paper gets you there. The food will not make you want to return.

It's a good thing the menu is seasonal so they get a few chances to improve. I had the chicken dumplings and the chicken was overcooked and it seemed like the chef tried to throw as many things in one dish as possible and then overpower the whole thing with too much rosemary and fennel. The common thing between all the different entrees was that the flavors did not blend well to produce a unique dish but lots of things in one dish. I have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world and my recommendation to the chef is to stop trying so hard and actually let the quality of the food stand out rather than masking it with too many things that do not blend together.
