Thank you Groove Salon in Charlotte!!
Andrea is a doll and everyone there was so nice. I have home colored my hair forever but I am a new Paul Mitchell convert and will not buy another box from the drug store. Love the cut and the feel. I am sold!!
I was a little worried at first, I won't lie, because it is located in a house in a neighborhood in the SouthEnd (and we know it can go from trash to treasure really fast in that area) and the yard was a bit over grown. But once you get inside and meet the people, it was a great experience. Already made my appointment for next month.
Please go and check them out. Visit their website and make an appointment. You will not be sorry!

HORRIBLE - less than one star..
The worst experience I've had in years. I just moved to Charlotte and went to Bradley based on a friend's recommendation. In defense of the friend, they haven't actually seen each other in ten years and Bradley swore he could do a bang up job on the color. Lie.
I moved from NYC and went to a super colorist - great blended blonde. All I asked was for him to match + cover my roots. He suggested we break up the blond a bit with a couple deeper + lighter shades. Nothing drastic. Ok, sounds good. The two things I said I did NOT want were stripes and white, ashy blonde. Everything should have a golden tone ( (hello, my perfect head of of hair is natural blended blonde ala Jenny An) Guess what I got? White uneven, unnatural stripes. AWFUL! I can't even pull my hair back in a pony tail. It looks so bad. The weird placement of these white stripes is just baffling. Dark on my roots + part, white (and I mean WHITE) on my temples.
The lighting in the salon is also so bad that you don't know what you're looking at until you get into your car. And the staff is crass + vulgar. Horrible.
There is a reason this place had not one other review or recommendation. I should have trusted my gut as I pulled up to his dive salon. I just saw on Groupon that they are offering a $75 Brazilian Straightening service. DO NOT TRUST THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE. Your hair may fall out at the root.
I spent $280 on the service + crappy Paul Mitchell products. What a total waste. My hair feels like straw + now I have to find a new salon and am petrified to do so here in Charlotte. So disappointed.
