In the beginning I spoke with Anastasia on the phone. She gave me the estimate price and all the initial information with the timings. The workers( can’t really remember their names) arrived early on the day of the move (after calling me first). The guys covered every detail of the move with us before getting started. They proceeded to pack and move every piece of furniture in my old home without nicking or scratching a wall. They were fast, yet highly conscientious of our belongings. The same held true when they arrived at our new house. They unloaded and placed all our contents in our new house without a nick or scratch to any of our newly painted walls. Each and every piece of furniture was also perfect without a scratch or dents anywhere (the only movers I have ever used that were able to make it without damage). In addition, they went the extra mile to get our refrigerator into our new house as well (which was no easy feat I may add)! In the end, the guys finished the move in the exact time estimated and with the same price quoted. I would use Principle again and I will definitely recommend them to friends. This was the worst move in history. When I scheduled the move I was assured that this company was professional and experienced. I discussed with the rep that my last moving company intentionally took their time to jack up the cost. I explained to her that I did not want to experience this again. I was assured they were professional. They were not. I had to call them to confirm my move. On moving day they showed up late. I called to see were they were and was told that they were 15 mins away. They showed up an hour later. When I expressed dissatisfaction the mover told me that he could just leave. They showed up with no dolly, not moving equipment , no coverings etc. It took them 3 hours to move 20 boxes 3 feet to an elevator and then to their truck. It took them another hour to break down my bed and put the rest of the stuff on the truck. On the way to my new place they movers decided to go get something to eat delaying the move further. They took another 4 hours to unload my things to the new place. All of my major items were damaged and scratched because they didn't have any tie downs or covers. I had to move a few things myself because they didn't have the proper equipment. When I refuse to pay the overage because I felt that they intentionally took that long to increase the bottom line, they called the police on me. I was forced to pay for a service that they didn't deliver or go to jail. Anyone out there please do not support this business. They are scam artist using the old bate and switch. They bait you with the low cost only to provide you with in experienced movers who intentionally take their time to increase the bottom line. They don't even own their own moving trucks. They rent them from Ryder.

Principle Moving. Recommended moving company despite few minor issues that were properly taken care of in short time.

For extremely competitive price you get a hard working, polite crew and helpful customer support. We had a couple of wall scratches and small dent on the side of the desk but I honestly don’t think this can be completely avoided.

The fact they could get some of the things through the narrow door seemed like a miracle in itself. Anyway, all damages were covered through the customer support and wall scratches repaired right on the spot.

Appreciated. I see a lot of positive reviews for this company and I have to say these are well deserved.

Moving to a third floor apartment with no elevator, I honestly didn’t know how we could possibly get all the furniture up there so I decided to hire professionals instead of allowing my husband and his friends anywhere near the issue. Professionals were what I got.
