very disappointed with the owner. she is dishonest gets very defensive easily. what a sweet little shop. unfortunately we will not be back. this seems to be the experience of many in town.

Ultimate cupcakes....best in Charlotte. Just for the record, there has to be someone trying to sabotage this place. Multiple review sights have a similar post. Just take a look at the negative reviewer's profile. All about bakeries, and all negative comments....very telling.

All cupcakes from this place are scratch made. Don't believe me, take their tour, or hold a party there. You'll learn their baking tips, and process first hand. I can personally tell you there isn't even crisco, or any other shortening in their kitchen. It's all fresh ingredient made daily, and with pure buttercream.

They have a Swiss buttercream reciepe that is to die for. Nice mix of flavor, texture, and smooth creamy deliciousness.

Don't listen to lame reviews, this is the place to go for the best in town.

I love these cupcakes!!. These cupcakes are one of the best I've had. They are moist, sweet, flavorful morsels that I could eat daily, but there would go my figure. I love them all, but my favorite is the peanut butter chocolate. The frosting is creamy and light, there is certainly no Crisco involved!

Every time I take a dozen to a party or to work, they go quickly and new fans are born.

I am sure there are other bakeries in Charlotte that have delicious cupcakes too, but "The Blushing Bakeshop" is my little slice of heaven in nearby Ballantyne Village. Please keep those delicious cupcakes coming.

The worst in Charlotte. I have had a cupcake from here so I speak with experience. This are the worst cupcakes I have ever had in my life. Box mix cake and whipped Crisco icing. Absolutely horrible.
