Great Service. I recently purchased audio/video equipment from Audio Advice and I am very pleased. I had 2 rooms done and also a Sonos music system installed. Dustin did a great job of working with me to get me what I needed within my budget. The installation went smoothly and the technicians were very professionial. I will definitely use Audio Advice for my future needs.
Excellent service & products. My experience with Audio advice is an A+. They installed a media room while I was away on vacation. I came back and everything was working perfectly. Dustin Clemens called after the installation and made sure everything was to my satisfaction. I've been using my media room for a while and have been able to call him for trivial things and i have been priority for him. I'm not the best at technology and i'm sure i've asked silly questions.... and he's always answered my questions & provided above and beyond service. I thought audio advice product selection was superior. My salesman & technicians were knowledgeable and provided outstanding service. And I have done business with them since my media room installation and all of the above still stands. Thank You Audio Advice!
It's Not Just About Price.
When it comes to audio and video equipment its just not about price, though Audio Advice does have a range of products to suit just about every need. I am a very satisfied customer because when purchasing high end equipment, installation, service, knowledge, education, i.e how to maximize the use of what you purchased is key to get the full enjoyment of your system, not just price. Dustin Clemens was my rep and he did a fantastic job of listening to my needs and sending via email quotes and answers to my questions, just great service.
I have over $24,000 in my system, and I am a tough customer to satisfy. My old system was in a rack and the back of the rack had cables that looked like a plate of spagetti, and when the David Stephens and Chris Kieffer (installers) got finished it looked fantastic. Cables were tight to the rack, and a very clean organized look. Its the attention to detail such as this that separates the men from the boys. Especially if you are going to spend some dollars on a nice system. Also Dustin followed up after the sale and install just to make sure I was still satisfied and did not forget any of new tricks he showed me on leveraging and managing my music with my new toys. I had Apple Mac mini, sonos, IPad, new amp, and new Integra processor new rear porch speakers, Panasonic 55" plasma for my family room surround system installed in addition to some minor work on my bedroom and kids room systems. You need a company with experience and a knowledgeable staff because at the end of the day, you will have the urge to upgrade down the road. You need to invest in a smart way so that your system can get better as you get better with minimal loss of dollars. That's why it's not just about price!
My system not only sounds great it looks great and I know how to use it.
The showroom is 'ok' but sparse and cold. Certainly not the selection of Audio Video Systems or even Tweeter who bought A/V Systems. The equipment choices on display are decent but pricing is full MSRP. But the main gripe was that they were EXACTLY what I heard they would. Total home theater snobs. Local home theater places have this reputation and it is largely true. I asked about pricing on some Pioneer Elite equipment and the guy looked at me as if I had just said "What is your price on a stinking pile of feces". I don't think a $1200 receiver deserves such a response. Then he went on to talk down what I had just asked about before even asking what my application was, room size, budget, or how I would use the equipment. They are authorized Pioneer dealers and he went on to completely trashed the Elite line and wanted only to talk about the Integra (Onkyo) stuff on display. I will be writing Pioneer next to tell them that Audio Advice thinks their stuff is s h i t.
Then Mr. know-it-all proceeded to tell me how HE would make the buying decision on amps and speakers (as if I asked). Pompous ahole. I was the only customer there on a Saturday afternoon and know I know why. I'll never go back and my $25k budget to redo my two home theater systems will go to a business that is a little more respectful. I guess if I was spending $200K they would have been easier to deal with? Who knows.
Man, I miss Audio Video Systems. Those guys knew me when I walked in the door, treated ever dollar I spent as if it was their own, and always gave me great advice and great prices.

I have been looking at ways to get whole house audio into our home for quite some time and had done a lot of research. I have also had friends who have built recently and they were going to put in whole home audio and ended up not doing it because it was expensive and complicated to them.
So, I had been looking at Sonos but I wanted to actually see it work in person. The Sonos site pointed me to Audio Advice in Pineville and I stopped in on my lunch hour. Todd was fantastic to work with and patiently walked me through a number of options I have in retrofitting my older home. We looked at Sonos, speaker options, component pieces. Todd hooked up speakers and components and we moved things around and discussed why some pieces may work better in my particular room configuration than others that I had read about on line. Seeing and hearing the equipment in person is a huge difference than online of course. Todd was exceptionally helpful and patient and knowledgeable in the various product ranges and options. I walked out with a good idea (finally) of what I actually need and that will actually work in my budget and that my wife might actually be able to use.
I have not yet pulled the trigger on the system, but I will be working with Audio Advice on equipment when I start here in the next few months. Their advice really took the fear out of this complicated project and moved it into the realm of actually happening.
Best Home Theater Company in Town. I visited Audio Advice recently and was blown away. The showroom is awesome and offers some of the best products available. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about their products.
Extensive experience all under one roof. These guys have seen and heard it all. From the smallest purchase like a great pair of headphones to a whole house sound system, no job is too big or small. I did a large project with Dustin Clemens. We converted my 3rd floor attic space to a dedicated home theater. No only did Dustin design the space, but he GC'd the whole job. Hired contractors from dry wall to paint, supervised the whole installation to his precise plan. What's more, my wife and I gave him a very tight budget and Dustin delivered an outstanding, innovative theater without compromise. He is thorough,patient and knowledgeable, and I look forward to my next project so we can do it all again. Thanks Dustin.
Great customer experience. I have known certain members of the new Audio Advice team for over 12 years (Dustin Clemens and John Price) from their previous store. I am happy to see they have joined Audio Advice in Charlotte and the outstanding product knowledge and service continues. These guys know what they are doing and are passionate about their business...this makes all the difference in the customer experience. I have complete confidence and trust in their work ability and pair that with an incredible selection of audio and video brands and you have the best in Charlotte....and really all of North Carolina. Much of the work was done when my wife and I were out of town and these guys treated everything with care. They even had Directv set-up in my entire home and supervised the entire process. I would highly recommend Audio Advice as a company and John and Dustin as two incredible teammates. I consider myself to be an audio nut and these guys were great in making sure that every step of the process was well understood and that I was more than happy with the product we selected on a fairly sizable installation.
