Good sushi!. I agree about the wait...but truly great sushi and atmosphere! went with a friend of mine and they let us bring our own wine and chill for hours! super great staff...friendly and clean! I'd give it an A! :)
Good food but an extremely long wait.. The restaurant is beautiful and has a cute vibe to it. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. The food itself was good but not worth the wait. The restaurant is extremely tight and at the time there were only about 13 other patrons and we were blown away by the wait time. We had 5 people at the table and 3 people received their food after a 45minute and the last person received their food 20minutes later. I would understand the wait had there been a rush but with only 4 other tables seated and multiple wait staff I don't understand why it took so long.
Great sushi, poor time management. Love love the avant garde roll, thats the only reason i put up with the ridiculous wait time. ordered two simple rolls at 7:55, they told me 30 minutes, sitting here hammering this out on my phone at 8:55....geeeeeez
Great Sushi, Dedicated Staff.
Have eaten at Cyros multiple times since the restaurant has opened a few months ago and both times the quality of the food was outstanding. The first time we had dined, it was their first week of opening and the service was a little shaky, but it's definitely on point now.
The last meal we had provided as a courtesy from Owner, Ro who is extremely dedicated to his craft and wants to please the patrons. This time around we got a few different rolls, but the Avant Garde Roll stands out as simply amazing. At any sushi place I visit, I always get a couple pieces of Sashimi to start off the meal. This time, I chose the Maguro and it was fantastic. Cut perfectly which made it pretty much melt in your mouth and extremely fresh. The pieces were very large and definitely worth the money.
The Sake list is quite extensive with what seemed to be around 30-40 bottles of both hot and cold sake. The staff are very good in recommending a sake to satisfy both your taste and budget so don't be afraid to ask.
One thing that you probably haven't seen when you come to Cyros are spray bottles of soy sauce. I have been given the explanation that its so you don't dredge your sushi in soy and ruin what the chefs have put together which makes sense.
Highly recommend making reservations at Cyros as it's a small place gets pretty crowded.
