MUST TRY!. We went to wild east Friday night, we almost did not go because at the same spot several restaurants have closed and were afraid this would be the same, but what a surprise!, as soon as you enter the atmosphere is just calm and relaxing, the lighting and decoration is so soothing, makes you feel as if you were in a fine dine expensive restaurant. The service from start to finish is awesome. We went with our 2 kids, unfortunately they do not have a kids menu, and I don’t think this is a family friendly restaurant, is more like a meeting, date, or have a good time place to eat, drink and relax. But it didn’t matter bc our kids eat everything!! We have the crab ragoons and the calamari for appetizer. They were both was fantastic! And the sauces that came with both were phenomenal, so delicate and just the right spiciness to it. We wanted to try the sushi so we ordered the paradise roll, it was to die for, fresh, delicate and we loved the savory and the sweet mix in it. Then we had the magnolia trio which is a must try! The sauce is so well balance, the meat, the chicken and shrimp are tender and fresh just delicious! We also had chicken lo mein for the kids and it was amazing… the portions are very generous. We couldn’t leave without trying dessert, were a little skeptical about the green tea ice cream but the server recommended and advise was worth it, oh boy we absolutely have no regrets, the fried banana was crunchy but light at the same time, right amount of sweet and the ice cream omg was gone in a minute!! I will recommend this place to everyone I know… if you have small kids I would think twice about going, mine are 6 and 7 and well behaved so we had no issues… no kids menu remember so you will have to share,, we do that everywhere we go anyway!! Ohh btw, the prices are very reasonable, we paid $50.00 total for 3 appetizers, 2 entrees and 1 dessert …
Best Kept Secret. I almost hate to write about Wild East because I'm afraid it will change if lots more people find out about this little restaurant in South Charlotte. We eat at Wild East or get delivery from there about twice a week and have yet to be anything but very pleased. The Walnut Citrus Shrimp is to die for, the sushi is all so wonderful that we can never choose, the lettuce wraps are the best in town and the Mongolian Trio is mouth watering. If you like light salads, try the Champagne Shrimp Salad. The staff is excellent - always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Try it - you'll be back again too.…
Great sushi!!!. Fabulous experience at this new little gem of a restaurant that opened recently in south Charlotte. Perfect for lunch or dinner -- I've tried both and was totally wowed by both food and atmosphere. There is a reasonably priced lunch menu, and there were drink and food specials for dinner. The sushi is a must-try. You won't find better in Charlotte. (Try the Paradise Roll or Rock 'n Roll.) With healthy preparation of many other items on the menu, I will be enjoying this place as often as possible and recommending it to everyone I know.…
HIGH MARKS. The grand opening banner outside brought me in, but a great overall experience will take me back very soon. Have to say, the food is quite, quite good. Atmosphere is soothing. Staff is attentive. Drink specials make a very affordable experience--that is also first-rate. This is a great addition to the area.…
