A fun fast food fix!. This Sonic has been here since the late 70s-early 80s. It is CLEAN, professional and fun.

The food is your typical Sonic fare but the people working here are pleasant and respectful...Please tip for their service. (Especially when they come out in the heat or the cold!)

I love the "Happy Hour" with the limeades etc for half price.

The food is not made ahead...it is done on the grill at the moment you order.

Go and enjoy a treat at Sonic in Monroe!

Founded in 1953 as a hamburger-and-root-beer stand, this nostalgic eatery is known for its intercom ordering system and roller-skating carhops. While servers rarely roller skate anymore, the famous made-to-order, all-beef burgers and thick malts are still menu favorites. Other signature items include Toaster sandwiches (made with thick Texas toast), extra-long chili and cheese hot dogs and hand-battered onion rings and tater tots. Desserts include chocolate, vanilla and strawberry shakes and fresh fruit slushes.

Cheap eats. This is the place to go if you need a quick good meal. It has a nice variety. Only thing that is missing is salads but most people don't go to a fast food restaurant for that anyway. The food comes out quick and hot. Good toys for kids too.
